This poem came about because of a crossroad with my friend. It's just that, when it happened, it reminded me of the things that I don't possess that she does have. No matter how contented I am with the life I'm living, there's still a lot of things missing...

"We're Totally Opposite"

You have many meetings that's showed,

I have many partings along the road.

Your path's laid upon your feet,

Mine was hidden that I can't greet.

Yes, we're totally opposite.

Your world's filled with all the shimmer,

I have one that has a false glitter.

You have everything making you complete,

I have one; that's the longing as time fleet.

Yes, we're totally opposite.

You still have the greater sunshine,

Made clearer by clouds that round.

I have a faint light in the lifeline,

Made darker by mists I've found.

Yes, we're totally opposite.

Thy awoke when dawn's brightening,

Able to strike for a new beginning.

I aroused when evenfall's dimming,

Hearing no sounds of hope ringing.

Yes, we're totally opposite.

Yonder designated, your fate's effulgent,

Wider it shows, optimism and not bleak.

Nowhere located, my outcome's divergent,

Thicker it seemed, pessimism's at its peak.

Yes, we're totally opposite.

Longer you've cherished thy sequel,

Elongated I've anguished for such prequel.

Dovish as you both rest in a dell,

But with her my epilogue says farewell.

Yes, we're totally opposite.

Through own picture, your envisions' nigh,

Thy on one's mettle to sore high.

Through own image, phantasm ends as sigh,

I'm on one's muddle asking why.

It's because yes, we're totally opposite.
