For my grandfather...   This is in homage to your memory. I never get to say this to you but I'm eternally proud to be a granddaughter of a WWII Veteran...

"Funeral Funnels"

The last second that you’re here,

The last minute I could hear,

End of hour I would able to see,

One last drop of tear that flee.

Your blood now cease to flow,

Last glimpse that you wanna show.

Your murmurs echoed so slow,

As your last breathe finally blow.

3 A.M. where it had seemed,

All of your exhaustion ended,

As your body now lies dead,

In which your presence now fade.

Life's light now cease to glow,

Age in next life now grow.

You’ll be one in the blocks in a row,

Lying in the ground down low.

Burden ourselves with your absence,

Since heaven separates us like fence.

Can’t blame anyone for death’s offense,

But getting o’er was a quite defense.

This seemed to be a nightmare,

All that happened wasn’t fair.

Living in this universe on where,

We are existing like a tiny hair.

Your body wasn’t like a steel,

But you have a sense to feel.

That to live without you was real,

No one’s at my front every meal.

We’re still continue living,

Trying to remove this achy feeling.

Need lots of strength in surpassing,

All the obstacles while walking.

This twinge don’t last long like a curse,

Though it isn’t as little as a purse.

Hold your ground while heart still beat,

Don’t let this scenario be your defeat.
