Third Person POV

"Eliza!!!"
Morgan shout's rushing out of the office and down the halls to the elevators, while Alexandra chases after her.

"Morgan wait!"
Alex called out to her as the panicked woman rushed into the elevator and pressed the 4th floor to the operating room.
Morgan's her heart and adrenaline were working on overtime.
Morgan stood there thinking about worse and worse scenarios, and how her wife must be feeling if she had failed while the elevator slowly took her to to her designated floor.

Morgan was already in tears as the elevator opened and she rushed past doctors and nurses to find out anything she could, while doing so a nurse called for her but she continued to run through the halls to find her wife and babygirl.

"Mrs summers." the nurse rushes to her and calls for Morgan again causing her to stop and turn to the nuse.
The nurse finally catches up to the Morgan out of breath and panting followed by Alexandra who apparently ran down the stairs to catch up.
Alex catches Morgan's arm while gathering own her breath.

"You must be on steroids or something." Alex says while finally able to catch her breath.
Morgan ignores her and motions for the nurse to continue.

"Mrs summers, she isn't in the OR, she is being taken to recovery room 20, I was sent to bring you to her."
the nurse said, quickly recovering her composure.

"So that wasn't Eliza?" she questions with uncertainty drenching her words.

"No ma'am, Eliza was in OR 2 with Dr. summers."The nurse confirmed, letting Morgan release her breath in relief.
"Okay then to her room." Alex says with a small smile.
Morgan returns the smile and nods.
The nurse starts walking towards the elevators making sure to guide them through the busy hall carefully while avoiding other nurses and doctors alike.

Morgan felt guilty for being relieved that it wasn't Eliza, but it meant her baby was safe.
Letting the nurse lead her through the hospital to Eliza's room she thought what would she had done if she had actually lost her.

"I would probably lose my mind, I don't know much about her and yet I already love her." Morgan thought to herself.
"Jackson would have never forgiven me, I wouldn't have forgiven me either."
"He did after all entrust her well being to me the day she used that phone."
Now that I think about it why is she in anyway,
"Security to hall 11 please."
Morgan's thoughts were interrupted as armed security officers rushed by with a gruff "Step aside!"
Raising an eyebrow in question she quickly shakes it off and follows the nurse with Alexandra behind her.

Morgan's POV

"As per your orders, Mrs. Finley we prepared this room for Eliza's every need, and her admittance into this hospital is on your desk.
We also set up a spare bed for you Mrs. summers and Dr. Summers." She said as she turned to me.

"Thank you, but is she awake?" I ask intently.

"No ma'am she will be asleep for quite some time." The nurse said with a small frown.I give her a nod and Alex's phone goes off and she motions for me to go ahead and she would be there shortly.

I head into the room closing the door behind me.
I see Eliza laying there with bandages practically covering her entire torso and her shoulder.
Fighting back a gasp and some tears I walk over to her bedside pulling up a chair and gripping her hand softly.
Gently rubbing my thumb over her fragile hand, I whisper to her.

"Oh you poor thing." I say quietly to myself not noticing the other presence in the room.

"That poor thing has a name babe." I hear the voice gently speak.
I turn a flash a weak smile to my wife.
"That doesn't mean she can't have a nickname babe." I chided while I quickly wipe my eyes with my free hand.

"True...." She paused." "Alex told me what happened in the hall."
She said gently grabbing the office chair and sitting besides me.
"Did she?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Don't do that babe." She said as she grabbed my free hand gently in her own.
"You know what I mean."I shigh and nod in agreement.
"Rose I love you, but this is not the time."My wife sighs but gives a small nod and pecks my cheek.
(Bio, Name Rose Summers, Age 31, Height 5'6, Eyes Green, Hair Black, Skin caucasian, Occupation Trauma surgeon.)

"Babe, what happened to this poor child?" I asked rhetorically.

"Judging by her injuries and small size I'd say this has been going on for years.
The bullet that was still lodged in her shoulder when she got here and it looks like it's been there for a good 3 days at least.
I had her medical records transferred here from a few good friends to determine the best way for treatment. This is at least the 6th time she broke some ribs.
Eliza has had her legs broken on more than one occasion throughout the years, some of her bones sustained more damage before they even completely recovered." She explained trying to keep her tone professional.

I squeeze my wife's hand as she tears up.
She leans her head on my shoulder
"No wonder she's so small, significant malnourishment, her bones have been broken so many times. This poor child needs us babe. Unfortunately even with all that we can do for her she will never get bigger than an 8 year old at best."

Taking a breath I hold my own tears.
"That's alright she doesn't need to get any bigger, besides it makes cuddles and carrying her easier I say with a small smile."
Rose laughs gently and nods.
Standing up I grab Roses hand and she looks at me curiously as she stands with me and I pull her over to the couch across the room from Eliza and sit down pulling her with me.

"Babe?" Rose questioned as I grab a spare blanket off to the side and wrapped us both up and pulled her into me.

"Um Babe?" She asked again a bit louder.
"Shhh, don't wake the baby." I said as I pulled her closer to me.
"Morgan what if she wakes up while we're asleep?"
"Then I'm sure she will wake us up."
"If she doesn't?"
"You worry too much my love."
"Morgan I don't think we should ju_"
