She was broken so she invested in something she knew she could do. Left the country and everything. While she was in her new home she found people that could help her be who she truly is. Will that be enough to fix her though?
I sat in my apartment, holding a picture of me, my dad and my2 half brothers. Then the picture of me, my half brothers and our best friends. They were both older then me but i still loved them. They made me wish i left on better terms then what i did. "Knock knock said the person who looked like the rock." i laughed as i wiped my tears away. "Oh no you don't. I saw them. What's wrong babes?" I looked him in the eyes and just let everything out. "I shouldn't have left the way i did. I literally up and left without telling anyone. After everything my dad did, my god. My mom abusing me and he saved me and before the court date i literally up and left. I was stupid and scared. she got let free all because i was a coward!" i leaned into him as i balled. "Hey shhhhh. it's not your fault. you lived through hell and now you're here. with me." me and him had a past even if we didn't share it with anyone else. before the ship opened and right after i had ran at 16/17 i met him and he basically took me with him and we fell hard. then i left because i was scared of who i was and what it would look like for him and his image. Seeing him again it was amazing. a sense of normal with all that was going on. As he let me go he smiled. "Since it's the first time i've been here and you've obviously decorated to your amazing standards, show me around." i giggled and started to show him around.

"And i'd show you my closet but well, ya know me." He laughed and we both just stood in my bathroom silent. i had to get this off my chest if i was ever to do anything else in life. "Can i tell you something?" he looked at me and nodded. "I never meant to leave you the way i did. I felt like it was better for your image and i didn't wanna ruin you or your reputation or what you already had. I was scared about what would happen if those things were true and i over analyzed and i left and i---" He smashed his lips onto mine and by the end of it we were both trying to catch our breath. "wow I always knew the right way to shut you up in your rambles." we both laughed. "It doesn't matter Rae. I get it. and i still love you Raelynn." I smiled as our foreheads touched. "I love you too Sketch."
