Kyungsoo's eyes felt heavy, he opened them slowly, his vision blurry from the blinding sun.
He blinked a couple of times so his eyes could ajust to the harsh lighting.
His visiom focused on the facial features of chanyeol softly smiling down at a just awoken kyungsoo.
"Good morning sleepy head" chanyeol chuckled his deep, soulfull chuckle, causing heat to raise to kyungsoos cheeks.
Chanyeol rested a large hand atop of kyungsoos head and gently ruffled the smaller boys hair.
Kyungsoo swatted the taller boys hand away playfully, a light chuckle escaping his lips.
"You guys ready to head out soon?" Leader Suho asked from across the camp, both boys attention was caught by the short leader who was busy with luhan preparing everyones rucksacks.
"Sure thing!" Chanyeol smiled happily at him
"Just tell me when your already to go and i'll lead you there" chanyeol explained happily earning a smile from the occupants of the camp,
"Dyo hyung where did you get this scarf" sehun asked feeling the soft material of the bright red scarf.
Just then a arrow came shooting past, just missing hitting kyungsoo,
And hitting the tree behind him.
"Looks like a distraction to me...the infected would easily spot that rag" kai sighed audibly, loading his crossbow.
"I agree with kai" baekhyun spoke in a matter - of - fact tone, crossing his arms across his chest and crossing his legs, everyone looked at baekhyun as if to say 'we dont need your opinion'
"So is tall shit here gonna show us the way to this other camp or what" kai spoke in monotone
"Yes! Chanyeol...show the way" suho smiled, he and luhan handed everyone there suitable rucksacks and they set out.
Walking along the dusty, deserted streets of seoul they walked in a spaced out group, no one talked, just walked.
Kyungsoo was lagging behind, his rucksack too heavy for him he dragged his feet, desperately trying to keep up with the group, he looked up at the other men. Kai, the weapon expert, was at front so he could down any incoming threat,
Sehun, the maknae, was walking alongside luhan, the pair exchaning light conversation about anything that comes to mind.
Suho, the leader, was talking to Chanyeol...probably about his group...and then there's baek-
Wait...where is baekhyun? Kyungsoo thought he looked around in front of him...he couldnt see him, usually he'd be clinging onto chanyeol like a little lost puppy.
"Looking for me?" A voice came from behind him causing the small boy to jump and let out a small scream, earning a harsh 'sush' from kai.
Baekhyun laughed, his laugh making kyungsoo feel uncomfortable.
"I see you have an eye for tall boy over there" baekhyun nods in chanyeols direction,
Kyungsoo looks at baekhyun with wide eyes, shaking his head no.
"Don't play dumb with me you little midget" baekhyun hissed "i see the way you stare at him, the way you wish he was yours...how you wish to be pinned underneath him while he fucks you raw...i know exactly what your thinking about...want to know why? Because we both want the same thing.
And let me tell you this" baekhyun stopped in his tracks and pulled kyungsoo's hair so he was looking at him straight in his rage filled eyes,
"I get what i want" baekhyun hissed in a low tone so only he and kyungsoo could hear,
"Do i make myself clear?" Baekhyun asked
After a period of silence, baekhyun shook kyungsoos head
"I said...is that clear?"
Kyungsoo nodded rapidly and managed to sqeak out a wimpy "yes" before baekhyun realeased kyungsoos hair and continued to walk.
Dumbfounded, kyungsoo adjusted the straps of his rucksack and contiued to walk. "Here we are" chanyeol spoke up catching the attention of the others.
"Just dont do anything to stupid and maybe you'll walk away alive"
The 7 walked with caution not wanting to seem a threat,
Chanyeol led them into a dark wood
"Stay close" chanyeol whispered
"We dont know if this place is clear, if i remember correctly we were planning on moving bases...
Who knows they may not be there when we get there"
"So your leading us to our deaths is that right?"
Kai hiss whispered
"Kai"
Suho whispered bringing his pointer finger to his lips signaling him to be quiet.
Chanyeol glared at kai over his shoulder before returning his gaze to the path ahead of them,
Kyungsoo, remembering his earlier conversation with baekhyun, backed away not wanting to be scoulded again.
"So channie what are the guys in your camp like" baekhyun smiled linking his arm in chanyeols,
Chanyeol stared at baekhyuns arm linked with his own as if it was an alien substance but answered his question none the less,
"There...interesting.
There super cool and nice when you get to know them but expect them to be... harsh,
Leader Kris is the most level headed, he tries to keep us all intact"
Chanyeol and baekhyun conversation turned into a group conversation
"Who else?" Luhan butted in linking his arm with chanyeols other arm earning a terrifying glare from baekhyun
"Theres Xiumin, he's the oldest and always cheers us up without fail,
Theres lay, hes quiet at first but hes cool, boy has to be smoking something, his head is always in the clouds,
Who else..."
Chanyeol ponders
"Oh yeah chen, like xiumin hes always happy, despite the situation he like to pull pranks little bastard found a fake bug and put it in my food one night, i went a full night without eating" chanyeol pouted at the memory,
"And theres tao... dont piss him off, hes majouring in martial arts, and dont touch his sword or he'll have you head"
"This 'tao' guy doesnt sound too hard, i bet he'll be the first to crumble" kai butted in
"Hyung! Sush!" Sehun swatted his head "tell us more".
Kyungsoo was again, lagging behind, he couldnt tear his gaze away from the giant who just happened to be the harbour of his feelings,
He couldnt help but think about the taller boy, trying hard to eliminate his feelings...but to no success.
Suddenly the conversations died down,
"Why do i feel like someones watching me"
Sehun whispered
"I got this" kai raised his arm to signal the group to stay behind him,
"Who do we have here?"
"Where are you?" Kai yelled
