Bryce's POV

I woke up at 7am and went to the gym. I got back, took a shower and then ate breakfast. Today was a very important day for our clan and I was nervous but excited

I got ready and went to our headquarters

Jaden: Bryce, all the gold is ready for being transported

Bryce: Ok great. Transfer it to the van and then we can leave

Jaden nodded and transferred all the gold in our van. I instruct him to come in the van with the driver and follow my car

Everyone gets ready and we leave. I start driving and so far so good. We were close to our destination after like 45 minutes when I saw two cars following us. I look through my view finder to see Monty Lopez's assistant in the car. I quickly call Jaden

Bryce: Jaden we are being followed!

Jaden: I know. What should we do now?

Before I could say anything, one of Monty's guy shot our van's tyres making it stop. I brought out my gun but then Monty's guard crashed his car into my car from the side. My car was now upside down and I was trapped inside of it. The glass from the windows were all shattered and pieces of it went into my head which was now covered in blood.

My vision was blurry but I saw Jaden laying on the groud with his hands and feet tied. Then I spotted a woman coming out of one of the cars. I managed to take out my gun and I pointed it towards her. She kept coming closer to me and she looked very familiar but her shades were covering most of her face. She then took off her shades and disbelief took over me as I gasped

Bryce: Addison?!

I said as I dropped my gun

Addison: Yes, Bryce Hall. It's me

She said kneeling down to face me

Bryce: Wait Im so cofused- wh-why would you do that to me and what do you want

Addison: Bryce I know you're not that dumb. Think harder, who does my name remind you of

My eyes widen

Bryce: Addison Rae Easterling as in Monty Lopez's daughter

Addison: Yeah no shit Sherlock

Bryce: Addison I actually liked you and you just played with my feelings?

Addison: Whatever. It was all a plan to get you to tell me where you were taking all this gold and you fell for it

She got up and started transferring all the gold to her van. I just layed there, shocked. They then left leaving me and Jaden like that until I passed out
