Bryce's POV

They finally reach downstairs and her sister removes her hair from her face and looks up and I see the person I never expected. Its Addison! I try to form words but Im speechless

Addison's POV

I look up and see Bryce. My heart drops

Amelie: Addi meet Br-

Addison: Amelie go to your room!

Amelie: What-

Addison: JUST GO

My blood is boiling. After all these years, I finally moved on but he will not stop following me

I walk up to him and grab his collar

Addison: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE

Bryce: A-Addison. Oh my god I cant believe this..its actually you

Addison: Answer me!

I say giving him a death stare

Bryce: Amelie invited me here

Addison: Amelie? First my father now my sister? What the fuck! Just get out of my house

Bryce: Addison no-

Before he could say anything else, I grab his hand and push him out the door

Addison: DONT EVER COME HERE AGAIN AND STAY AWAY FROM MY SISTER

I scream and close the door in his face

Addison: Why, just why

I say and break down crying

Amelie's POV

Amelie: What's happening? What was that? Do they know eachother? Why did Addi scream at me like that?

So many questions are running through my head. I dont know what to think

I heard screaming and then someone crying. I run downstairs to see Addi leaned up againts the door, crying. I quickly go to her and hug her

Amelie: Addi what's wrong. Please tell me, Im really getting scared

Addi wiped her tears and held both of my hands and looked at me

Addison: How do you know Bryce?

Amelie: Addi I have a boyfriend named Blake who I was going to introduce you to tonight and Bryce is his brother

Addison: You cant date Blake

Amelie: What?!

Just then the doorbell rang again and I opened it to reveal Blake. I hugged him tightly, with tears in my eyes

Blake: Amelie what's wrong

Addi stands up and pulls me away from him

Addison: Stay away from her

Amelie: Addi please! What's happening? Why are you behaving like this?

Addison: Amelie I am your elder sister and Im telling you to stay away from him for your own safety so please listen to me

Amelie: Addi I love Blake

Blake: I love her too and I cant stay without her

Addison: Then forget about your brother

Blake: Excuse me?

Addison: If you want to stay with Amelie, break all ties with your brother

Blake: Amelie I love you a lot but you know Bryce means everything to me

He says and lets go of me and turns to the door. I grab his wrist to stop him

Amelie: Blake I cant live without you

I say breaking down

Blake: And I cant live without my brother...

Addison then grabs Blake's arm and turns him around aggressively

Addison: Who are you leaving my sister for? Bryce? He isnt even your real brother!

Addi shouts and Im shocked

Blake: Amelie tell your sister to stop orelse I might say something I shouldnt

Blake says in an angry tone

Addison: Go ask your brother if he is adopted or not if you dont believe me!

Addi says and Blake storms off

Blake's POV

Blake: I cant believe this. How dare she say that about Bryce!

I say to myself and get in the car. I cant help but cry

Blake: What if its actually true..

I start driving and quickly go to my house

Bryce's POV

I just reached my house. I sit on the step of my house's doorway to process everything that just happened. I just met Addison! My Addison! After 5 years!

I sit there for another few minutes when I see Blake pull up in the driveway. He got out of the car crying. No. What happened. I stood up and he walked up to me angrily

Blake: Are you my real brother?

Bryce: What do you mean

Blake: Addison told me you're adopted..

I didnt say anything

Blake: Should I take your silence as a yes?

Bryce: Blake.. please come inside first

I say and walk inside and he follows me. We sit on the couch and start talking

Bryce: I was an orphan. Then your father adopted me when I was 6 and I lived with you guys since then. Dad didnt want anyone to know about it, especially you so I had to keep it a secret. Im sorry I didnt tell you all these years. Just know that I always loved you as my own brother

I said and Blake hugged me

Blake: I dont care if your adopted. I will always love you

He says smiling. I also smile in relief. We talk a little more and then he goes to his room

I was raging mad. Addison crossed her line this time! She can hurt me however much she wants, but not my brother. I get in my car and drive to Addison's house

I pull up and knock on the door, loosing patience. Addison opens the door and I grab her hand tightly

Addison: What the fuck are you doing?!

I drag her outside to the road infront of her house

Bryce: WHY THE FUCK DID YOU TELL BLAKE THAT IM ADOPTED. YOU KNEW NO ONE EXCEPT ME YOU AND DAD KNEW ABOUT THAT BUT STILL? YOU CROSSED YOUR LINE ADDISON

Addison then pushed me away roughly

Addison: I CROSSED THE LINE? YOU CROSSED THE LINE A LONG TIME AGO WHEN YOU SHOT MY FATHER

She said crying. I grabbed her neck in anger and pushed her to a wall, looking deeply in her eyes. She tried to push me but I didnt let her

Bryce: STOP! Ill talk and you'll listen today! It was all a trap set up by your father. He never had the intention of solving problems between our clans. Instead he just wanted to kill my father, which he did..

I loosened my grip on her as I got emotional. I told her everything that happened that night and how I never shot her father. I got away from her when I was finished

Addison: I know your lying so just stop! I trusted you once but you broke my trust

Bryce: Are you for real right now? Addison, I told you everything. Now believe what you want to

I said before leaving her and driving to my house
