DIFFERENT TYPA' LOVE

Ch.3

                                         DESIRE :

I moved around in my sleep feeling I was the only one in the bed , this bed felt different , it was a lot more comfortable than I'm use to . I opened my eyes and seen I was in a different bedroom certainly wasn't mine . I closed my eyes and played back events that took place last night and I remember King bringing me back to his place after I basically dumped my load of pain onto him . I looked around his room from the bed and his room was neat actually , I mean aside from the pile of dirty laundry his room was pretty decent . I got up to stretch and I heard the voice of a little girl running around laughing . I remember he did mention he had a daughter .

   "Goodmorning ."

I turn around and it was King walking in his room.

  "Hey Goodmorning." I say fixing my hair

I bend down grabbing my shoes going to put them on . I shuffled through his covers looking for my phone but I couldn't find it .

   "Your phones over there ." He pointed to the love seat he has at the edge of his bed

" thank you ." I faintly smile moving a piece of my hair behind my ear

He wasn't paying any attention to me as he was counting his money fast .

   "Hey can you put your address in my phone , I'm gonna get a Uber back ." I ask reaching out giving him my phone but he ignored me walking past me

"Hello ?" I asked following him around the room

   "I'm not putting you out what's the rush to go back to him ?" King asked

"To him ? Sir I live there ." I said crossing my arms not appreciating the attitude

    "I get that , but like I said ... what's the rush to go back to him , no disrespect but if I was in your position... I wouldn't be in a rush at 10 am to be going home back to the problem ." He says taking a quick look my way

"Wow , this is why I shouldn't have said nothing ." I said turned around plopping on the bed

King looks at me in a way almost as if I disrespected him in some sort of fashion , I look back at him .

   "What'd I tell you that night in the club ?" He asked approaching me as he puts on his watch

I thought back replaying that whole night , "You said a couple things ." He smirked to himself then looking back up at me , "I said I'd never judge you  , so when you say you shouldn't have said nothing ... makes me feel like you think I'm judgin' , I just don't see why a beautiful women like you is stuck on a nigga like that ." He finishes

    "Your point ?" I asked crossing arms standing up

"My point is , don't go I planned something for you ." He says and I blink my eyes a bit in confusion

    "You ? You planned something for me ?" I asked pointing to myself

"That's what I said ,correct ." He says walking closer to me as we are now body to body , face to face , as he looks down at me since I'm shorter then him

As we stood there and stared at one another , I took in his sent of cologne... Calvin Klein I think . He smelled good , he looked good , everything about him was just .... attractive .

      "Daddy I wanna go to the park ." Says the little girl who is his daughter as they resemble each other spot on

"Who's this ?" She ask

      "Kairi this is Desire , Desire this is my babygirl Kairi ." King introduces us

I wave bending down to her level waving at her telling her how pretty she is , Kairi flashes a small smile as she run over to her Dad's leg .
