-This story takes place in a medieval-like fantasy world and often may have sexist themes, this does NOT mean I support those ideas.
-It also has a yandere male lead, yanderes are something I write for a lot but these actions should not be considered okay in real life, partners in a relationship should be equal and if you ever find yourself in a situation where your significant other is controlling them leave that relationship immediately, that is not healthy or please contact help.

A noblewoman's world was small, much smaller than that of their male counterparts. A life limited to their family and the few friends they were privy to. One mistake and it all came crashing down, like castles of sand built bordering the raging ocean, begging to be toppled. Michelle had learned to protect hers even from the wildest storms but even she wasn't immune to the exhaustion that followed from hours of socializing, surrounded by people simply looking for an opening, a slip of the tongue, or the slightest misstep.

So as she exited towards the garden for a breath of fresh air, she couldn't help but stop in her steps as she saw a familiar set of [hair colour] locks. She had seen her name on the guest list so she wasn't surprised, it was the figure entrenched in the darkness that stood just a few steps back that took her aback. Maybe it was a sense of camaraderie as fellow women that compelled her to do what she did, or maybe guilt for her past actions. Whatever it was, she couldn't help but rush towards her, forgetting every piece of etiquette ingrained into her, grabbing her wrist and dragging her inside, finding the nearest empty room. And while the couples that were using the nearby rooms made it less than appropriate for them to be there, it would suffice to keep the prying stranger away.

"Let go of my wrist!" [name] said as she winced in pain from having been dragged across half the estate.

"Someone was following you, were you aware of that?!" It was hard to hide how unnerved Michelle felt.

"I'm not sure how this involves you, Lady Foreste." There it was again, her overly polite tone, seemingly composed even when such knowledge was revealed. But Michelle could tell how her tone wavered, while it's nothing to be proud about, she's pushed [name] to the limit enough times to know well when vizard cracked.

"I understand that our relationship has never been the best but you should calm down. I have no intention of doing anything that could cause trouble." As if she had just been waiting to hear such words, [name] fell onto the armchair behind her, her breath heavy as she tried to muster up words from her mouth. She didn't trust Michelle, and she probably never will, not after what she had made her go through but this was her breaking point. The exhaustion all sank in at once as she found herself unable to do anything but uncontrollably sob.
