Ch. 8 "Protect you"

                                                     Jordan POV 

Ever since the incident with the Indians, I well I've been sticking to Peter like glue, I'm sure it's getting on his nerves, 

and when I can't stick to Peter I'm sticking to Felix, 

I have to admit I didn't feel as afraid in a while since that happened, and ever since I'm afraid sure I'm not going to say that to Peter or any of the lost boys because that just makes me sound like a scared little girl, 

yeah I know I'm a little girl but I want to be brave like Peter, not afraid of anything, 

Currently I'm sitting next to Peter as he played his flute, while the boys danced around the fire, 

I had my elbows on my thighs and my chin in my hands, 

I watched the fire dance, 

Why is it that I feel so useless, my mind was racing with thoughts negative thoughts which isn't a good thing, 

You know being connected to Neverland the clouds started to cover the moonlight, and the wind started to blow a little harder than necessary 

I'm trying to clear my mind, but it wasn't working very well, 

Peter stopped playing and looked at me concerned, 

He kneeled in front of me, 

"Rose breathe," He said 

I did as I was told, 

"Good, now count with me," He said 

He held up one finger, 

"One," I said 

"Two, three," I said 

"Good," He said he looked up seeing the sky was clear again, 

"Tell me what's going on," He asked 

Just as I was about to answer, 

"Pan!" Hunter came running 

"What is it?" Peter said annoyed 

"Hook, he's back and he's got the boy," Hunter said 

Peter nodded, 

"Felix, I want you to take some of the boys and search his ship," Peter said 

Felix nodded and left with a lot of the boys, 

"Come Rose I want to show you something," Peter said 

He took my hand and we walked I see we are getting further and further away from camp, 

"Are you sure we should be this far away?" I asked as I looked behind us, 

"Yes Rose I won't let anything happen," Peter said 

"Okay," I said hesitantly 

After walking a while we came to the top of the mountain where there were a bunch of wild flowers and fireflies that glowed in the night, 

"Wow!" I said excitedly 

"Beautiful isn't it," Peter said 

I nodded, 

Peter kneeled in front of me, 

"I need to know what is going through that cute little head of yours," He said tapping on my forehead 

"Umm, I understand why you didn't want me to wander off," I mumbled 

"But?" Peter said 

"But I just wish I could be brave like you, but being captured by the indians scared me, I thought I was never going to see you again," I said innocently 

"Rose, it wasn't going to go that far, because no matter who kidnaps you my shadow always knows where you are, so I already had myself and the boys outside of that indian camp," Peter said tucking some of my hair behind my ear, 

"So do you understand, I will always protect you and always find you," Peter said 

I nodded

I walked towards him and hugged him, 

I felt him pet my hair,

Little did Jordan know was that a certain pirate was watching the entire exchange, he knew it was wrong but he now knew how to get off this Island
