You and Jimi are dating in this one! :)
You and Jack sighed in annoyance as you waited impatiently for Bobby, Merle and Jimi. The five of you had decided to go camping, well, Martin had sent Bobby to come with you all to supervise you like children. But, surprise surprise, they were still inside.
Ten minutes later, they finally arrived outside, Merle looking pissed.
You stood there, arms crossed and an annoyed look on your face. "What took you so long?" You asked, practically yelling. Merle huffed as he put the bags into Jimi's van, glaring at Bobby.
"Bobby here had to stay for an extra ten minutes to talk to Martin. I wouldn't be surprised if he'd stayed another hour if I hadn't dragged him out." He said, shoving the rest of the stuff into the van.
Bobby rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "It's not my fault he had to go over all of the rules!" He exclaimed, getting inside the van.
Merle huffed in annoyance and got in after him. "Well, talk about a bad start." You said, making Jack and Jimi laugh. "Come on kiddo, get in. This is gonna be fun!" Jimi said to Jack, who only nodded and got inside the van.
You turned to Jimi and pecked him on his cheek. "Let's go too, I want to start camping already." You said, and Jimi hopped in the drivers seat, and you got in on the passenger side.
"Why does (Y/N) get to sit in the passenger seat?" Merle asked, making you laugh. "Because I'm his girlfriend! I get to sit whenever I want!" You exclaimed in a teasing manner.
Merle only scoffed and crossed his arms, and Bobby softly put a hand on his shoulder. He was having another one of his toddler tantrums.
"(Y/N), how long do you think the car ride will be?" Jack asked, turning his attention from the angry Merle and Bobby who was comforting him, trying to stop him from being so mad.
"Around an hour Jack, sorry." You said, feeling pity for the boy, who had to sit in the back with the other dramatic baby's. "Let's turn on some music, eh? That'll lighten up the mood!" Jimi exclaimed.
Everyone murmured an agreement and Jimi turned on the radio, the song I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles started playing.
You started humming with the song, being one of your favourites. Jimi glanced over at you and smiled. He was glad he was able to get such a loving girlfriend that loved music.
When you all finally arrived, Jack jumped out of the car, running towards a lake besides the camp site. "Jack! Get back here!" Bobby yelled out as sorry filled him.
You put a hand on his shoulder and smiled calmly. "Let him be Bobby. He's a teenager, he needs to be able to make some decisions on his own and do what he wants." You explained to him, and he nodded, sighing in defeat.
You all got the things that were needed for the tents, and started setting them up. Merle and Bobby were struggling, but you and Jimi were naturals at building the tents.
So, you went over to help the other two. "Need some help?" You asked, swinging around the hammer for the tents slowly. They both nodded and Merle sighed. "You said this would be easy!" He yelled, but you only laughed. "The tent part is hard but, the rest is so easy and fun! Trust me, you'll enjoy it guys." You said, and Merle looked at you suspiciously before turning away. "It better be." He mumbled, making you laugh.
A few laughs and arguments later, you finally finished putting up their tent. "Thank you, (Y/N)." Bobby said and Merle crossed his arms. "Thanks, I guess." He said, and you giggled, walking back to Jimi and Jack, who were setting up a fire.
"So, how'd it go?" Jack asked, and you shook your head while laughing softly. He instantly knew how things went down.
"(Y/N)!~" You heard Jimi call out from behind you. You, Jack and Bobby had sat down besides the fire, starting to cook dinner. Merle and Jimi went to find more firewood.
You hummed, showing your attention was on him. He slumped down on the grass besides you and kissed you lovingly, making you giggle when you two pulled back.
Merle and Jack made gagging sounds and Bobby looked at both of them angrily.
"Say, what's for dinner?" Jimi asked on his heavy accent, another one of the reasons you fell for him. "We're trying to cook steak Jimi." Jack said, continuing on. "And (Y/N) is making mushroom soup too."
Jimi rubbed his hand together excitedly, licking his lips. "Looks great darling!" He exclaimed, and you laid your head on his shoulder, making him kiss your head.
Finally, one dinner where there didn't break out a stupid fight. One of the reasons you all wanted to go camping, so you all could get a break from all the arguments, except for Merle's tantrums.
You were almost used to all the arguing. It started happening so often ever since.. Emmett, disappeared. Your best friend. He was almost like a brother to you. So when you had been kicked out by your parents, he let you stay in The Manor.
Then, he was gone.
"(Y/N)!!" You heard Jimi yell, snapping you out of your thoughts. "Y-Yeah?" You managed to stutter out. He looked down at you, looking worried.
"It's about Emmett again, mhm?" He asked, and you nodded sadly, burying your face into the crook of his neck. You felt tears prick at your eyes, but you refused to cry in front of all of them.
"I know, it sucks. He was your best friend, and almost like Jack's father. We all felt so happy around him and then.. he disappeared. But, we still have him. Right here." He said, placing his hand on his chest where his heart should be.
You smiled with tears in your eyes, and you nodded. "You're right. He'll always be with us." Jack finally said, breaking the silence.
Jimi nodded and pulled you into a hug, whispering in your ear.
"Just like how I'll always be with you."
