I was looking at them while they looked around for someone. When the explosion happened they quickly rushed back to their base. Except Marvel, he went into the woods looking for someone.
I saw Katniss and when I rushed to hug her we were standing there talking when suddenly she Marvel threw a spear, and as I closed by eyes, I felt nothing. I opened them and saw an arrow in the boys neck and Katniss lying in the floor, with a spear in her belly.
"You have to win...for me." Those were her last words before I heard two cannons.
I grabbed Katniss' backpack and climbed a nearby tree. I watched as her body was lifted from the ground and wiped off my tears.
I was about to look for more berries when suddenly I heard an announcement.
"Attention tributes! There will be a feast tomorrow at the cornucopia, with something each of you desperately need. Good luck!"
I knew that feasts always end up bloody, but I had to try. But what did I desperately need? Some water maybe? The little water left in Katniss' bag wasn't enough to last until the games finished.
