I had an idea for this one but I ended hating how I wrote it out, so I deleted it and came up with this.

Hope it's fine. :)

When Sapnap let it slip, he thought he had just single-handedly ended their friendship.

When Karl froze and had a shocked look on his face, Sapnap felt his heart twist up in regret and guilt.

It was a miss-up, a mistake. Although he meant each word he spoke.

His mind raced with what could happen next. Karl cutting him off, taking it in a platonic way, feeling uncomfortable and asking Sapnap to leave.

But he never expected the simplicity of Karl feeling the same way.

Because it was impossible. Online it was a skit, Karl never meant any of those words like Sapnap did.

Sapnaps heart crumbled and skipped a beat. Even though it felt so right to say those words towards the man next to him, it was wrong.

Wrong to take advantage of a meaningless skit over the internet. Wrong to think of holding hands with him. Wrong to savor every touch he gives.

It was wrong.

And yet, Karl's reply was simple, and uncalled for.

Sapnap had slipped up and said those three words:

"I love you,"

And Karl responded with four:

"I love you too,"

I've been listening to Your City Gave Me Asthma and I keep almost falling asleep, Wilbur's voice is so soothing.
