A request...

Rito's POV

A few weeks have passed since Shēnyuān's surprise visit to the Chinese Cuisine, and I was very excited to walk to his house.

I was messaged last night by his older brother to come over for some kind of request saying I would get payed a good amount, and I agreed without care.

After I agreed to Shénguāng's request, he sent me a map and instructions on where to go, and I followed.

Once I got to the house, I knocked on the door and waited patiently, holding a box of dumplings I made before I left my house.

As the door slowly opened, I saw Shénguāng looking tired, and Shēnyuān hugging his neck. "Hey... Umm... What's going on here?" I asked confused as I walked into the house.

Shénguāng sighed and grabbed Shēnyuān and put him on the floor. "It's fairly tiring trying to keep Shēnyuān under control all alone, so I was hoping you would take care of him for the day." Shénguāng said and Shēnyuān pouted. "Oh come on! I'm not that intolerable!" Shēnyuān replied angrily.

I giggled, poked Shēnyuān's soft cheeks, and replied happily. "It's alright, I'll babysit this chaotic child." Which made Shēnyuān speak up. "Well, what's Shénguāng gonna do while I'm being in Rito's care?"

Shénguāng stretched and walked upstairs. "Get some rest, you've been very tiring for the past month." Shénguāng said, and Shēnyuān pouted again. "Meanie, I'm not that tiring am I?" Shēnyuān asked looking at me.

I smiled and carried him to the living room slowly. "Not that tiring, but you can become annoying from time to time." I said with a giggle before putting sitting on a couch, Shēnyuān still in my arms.

Shēnyuān sighed and leaned on my chest. "Can you at least put me down? You're basically restraining my arms." Shēnyuān said and I giggled as I let him go.

Shēnyuān then stood up and did a few stretches. "Alright... So, if you're my 'Babysitter' What are we gonna do?" Shēnyuān asked while also letting out a slight yawn. "Well... I was wondering if you wanted to have a snack~" I said, putting the box of dumplings on the table, Shēnyuān crawling towards it.

"What's in the box Rito?" Shēnyuān asked as I sat down next to him. "Why don't you see what's inside? I think you'll love it!" I say happily, watching as Shēnyuān opens it slowly, revealing the fresh dumplings.

"Are these all for me...?" Shēnyuān asked staring at me and I smiled. "I mean, it was meant to be for you and Shénguāng, but if you want, you may eat them all alone."

After replying, Shēnyuān smiled and started eating the dumplings. "I'm glad you're enjoying my little gift for you Shēnyuān." I said, grabbing my phone scrolling through some cooking recipes, letting Shēnyuān continue to eat.

After a few minutes of reading, I noticed Shēnyuān was staring at me. "You... Don't want to eat as well?" Shēnyuān asked curiously, handing me a dumpling.

I chuckled and took the dumpling from Shēnyuān's little hand. "Thank you Shēnyuān, these were a new recipe, and I didn't try these dumplings yet." I said, putting the dumpling in my mouth and started to eat with him.

"Wow, these are delicious." I say, grabbing another one. "I know! I want the recipe Rito used to make these!" Shēnyuān said leaning on me, making me giggle. "I'll teach you one day, but for now, let's eat this batch." I say, patting Shēnyuān's head.

Shēnyuān smiled, and continued to eat with me. "So, how's your AI project going?" I asked continuing to eat. "Pretty good actually, Ren Zhi is already functioning properly." Shēnyuān replied and continued to eat.
