As shallow the title might seem, the manga is pretty deep.
So the manga has this uke who was a prostitute and is trying to become a new person with no ties to past and a seme who is in love with the uke after having sex while he(the uke) was still a prostitute. After a long time, the uke joins a company where the seme is the director of that particular section. Thus, the seme chases his long lost love and the uke is constantly trying to break free from his past.

Many people are mad because the uke doesn't fall for the seme easily even after the seme being so in love with him, treating him with utmost care. Let me tell you, if you're gonna be one of those people- get the fuck outta here. It's not easy to let go of a past you've been hurt by so much just because someone shows you love. It takes time, even after a long time you can't say properly if you can truly ever move on. So-
