So to everybody tuning in thank you so much! This is the review for the next 100 pages for Mariah Carey's new memoir And bye the way if you are looking for something chic an fabulous, that speaks to your mind then check out my new clothing an accessory page B.V.F! (www.bvfstore.org)

Aright lets get into this section....I stretched it to 134 pages because there was quite a lot that happened! We're gonna start with Mariah's last stint at the manor or what she called 'sing sing"...the marriage was clearly falling apart and Tommy was trying very very hard to keep Mariah, thinking buying her a new car would do something, but I love how Mariah described "one more expensive thing to add to the lavish scrap heap which was our marriage"...Tommy was trying to keep Mariah under his control, and the final straw was when Mariah was having dinner with Tommy an his executive friends, Tommy came up to her, got a butter knife, an put it on Mariah's face!! An these other men just watched as Tommy pretty much humiliated Mariah, the best selling female artist of the 90s, all because his male ego was cracked. This is common behavior with big time CEO's and execs they like power, and it elevates them when people are afraid or automatically do what they say. They figure with that high net worth they're unstoppable....and when the rumors start coming out ofc they always deny it!

So Mariah leaves the marriage and the house, and they go to the Dominican where foreigners can get divorces real quick, and just like that Mariah was FREE, sorta....but free enough to go see Derek her boyfreinnnn, and spent the night at his house gettin that dick! And she enjoyed it too! Mariah and Derek seems like it was meant to be, but like she said couples who are both celebs dont work, and I think Mariah was caught up in the fantasy of love, just trying to get away from Tommy, so she enjoyed being single for a minute and her looks changed! This was the era she showed more skin and different hairstyles, and it was like Mariah found herself! Butterfly was a good album but after the divorce, Tommy made it a living hell to work there; Mariah was constantly fighting for her creativity and the label execs didnt understand the new wave of hip hop....they wanted to make money off it but they didnt understand it! As a result there were only 2 singles released from the album an thats why it sold 15,000,000 less than "Daydream". All the iconic songs like The Roof and Breakdown didnt make it to the hot 100. Mariah really wanted to get out her deal it was like nobody was listening to her, there had to be somebody with some authority... so she did a boss move and went to Sony HQ in Japan an met with the head honcho of all honchos, Norio Ohga an she talked wit him, an after she came back to the US it seemed  the execs were finally listening an they made her a deal.. do the "number ones"  compilation, a remixes album, another studio album (Rainbow) and then world tour. It was around this time Mariah worked with WHITNEY HOUSTON on "When you believe" and squashed the rumors that these two legends were rivals... legends acknowledging legends!

Then we arrive in 2001, Mariah leaves Sony behind after 10 years of success and drama, no more Tommy an his shit, she now signs to Virgin records with a deal worth $80-100 million I think, and with a new company comes new drama. Mariah signed up to do GLITTER.....and it was supposed to be a gritty, R rated, movie with Terrance Howard, but Mariah was shocked to see her project really watered down an bubblegum I mean the script was changed every day ans the scenes were conjoined together. Mariah was acting and made to do the soundtrack....but Tommy was still petty after the divorce, he didnt want Mariah to win so he sabotaged her project using JLO, he took the melody samples Mariah secured for the soundtrack and gave them to JLO, and Irv Gotti the hip hop producer who made the song "If We" on the glitter soundtrack....Tommy was slick an used the same melody for JLO's song IM REAL Murda Inc remix, (a number 1 hit) and if you listen to them they sound VERY similar! Mariah was put thru the ringer just work work work, so when Loverboy came out and went to number 2 on the chart, sounds like a hit right?? Well Virgin records thought it was a flop, and Mariah was like working harder, because when you work hard on something as a creative you want it to be perfect, and Virgin had her doing back to back videos and interviews, Mariah didnt know how to stand up and say NO, I DONT CARE IM NOT DOING THIS TODAY! And we can apply this to our own jobs as well, yes you might need the money but you gotta learn when to say ENOUGH, thats not in the job description, just becasue im your best employee dont mean im a doormat!

Mariah was working 7 days straight very little sleep or no sleep at all, and as this point she running on fumes so she goes to TRL and the infamous "strip" and it was planned but the host didnt know that. Then management kept bugging Mariah to do the music video even tho in the end they used a scene from the movie.....which they shoulda done in the first place but, Mariah went to a hotel, that didnt work, even went to her back up singers home in Brooklyn, that didnt work either, so she went to her moms house an thats when she passed out. As I read it further an further we'll find out more about her recovery, and god knows what else. Also she might touch on Eminem an the shit with him, but we almost to the end of the book so....i'll talk to yall later
