12- Your Promise

Last night felt unreal, if it weren't for the containers filled with dumplings in your fridge you wouldn't have believed last night even happened

You've never had anyone over. Ever since Stain was taken to prison, you decided to move out to a different apartment. And despite your several acquaintances with people, you never bother to actually befriend anyone. It wasn't that you were antisocial per se, but rather you never felt the need to have friends. What was the point? It's not like you could tell them the truth about yourself.

You prefer to keep yourself hidden. Everything from your true identity to Stain being your brother. Nowadays people were so quick to judge, you figure they would never accept you for who you were. Instead they'll just see you as "Hero-killer Stain's sister". No one would want to be friends with someone like you.They would throw disapproving looks at you just how they did to Stain. They wouldn't understand you and your brother's ideals. They were too busy looking up to heros and forming this picture perfect world in their head that wasn't real

You looked over at your clock and notice it was already 11:00 am

You actually manage to sleep pretty good after Dabi left that morning. Maybe your body had spiral from exhaustion from both the mission and the cooking that it finally let you catch a break

That morning you spent it slumped over your coffee table, studying chemistry and researching different organic molecules and compounds that made drugs function they did. You always found yourself reading about anything regarding elements, bonds, amino acids and the different chemical reactions that existed in this world. The chemistry behind things was the only thing that kept you sane. From as to why certain substances undergo the transformations they do to everything regarding explosives, stimulants, opiates, feelings. It all helps you understand things a little better, it gives you a sense of security.

Awakening from your thoughts, you checked your phone and noticed it was already 3 pm...

Wow.. where did the time go...

You got up and stretched your back extending your arms as far as your body allowed you too, letting out a sigh. When suddenly your burner phone started ringing

Here we go again

You walked over to the counter and picked up the call

"Loser says what" you quickly muttered

"What?" you heard Tomura questioned

You giggled at his oblivion

"What's up?" you asked heading over to your fridge, placing the containers with dumplings in your bag

"It's your turn to look over the brat," Tomura muttered rather annoyed, you could hear in the background Bakugo screaming to let him go. Man how were his vocal cords still intact...

"Right, I'll be there in a few" you replied hanging up the call.

You made your way inside the league's hideout when you heard Bakugo screaming

"AS IF IM EVER GOING TO JOIN YOU" He spat out

You slowly and quietly made your way to where Toga and Twice were and tried to get their attention without letting Tomura see you. You didn't want to deal with him and the angry blond right now

"psst" you whispered with your hand covering the side of your mouth, handing the bag over to them

"[y/n] chan why are you being so suspicious, it looks like you're handing us drugs" Toga laughed
