𝟏𝟕- 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬?

Dabi walked into the pharmacy you worked at but didn't see you anywhere

"Looking for [y/n] ?" Your co-worker crept behind him catching him off guard

"Uh.. yeah" Dabi said scratching the back of his head

"Is she not here?" He asked, his eyes scanning the area

"No, but I can let her know you stopped by" your coworker said making his way behind the counter

"No it's fine," Dabi said

His eyebrows furrowed. Had you gone back home to change?

He dismissed his thoughts and made his out the door to find some recruits

"Morning, I'm sorry I ran late" you gasped making your way over to the counter

"It'll be more surprising if you were on time" Your coworker mocked

You deadpanned

"ANYWAYS, I need to get some stuff from the lab so I'm going to have to leave early today," you said looking over at some files

"What stuff?" He asked

"Just.. stuff" you giggled to yourself

You've been secretly working on something special at your school's lab. And you were getting really excited with the results

"Ok then, oh and your boyfriend dropped by" your coworker mentioned

Boyfriend?

"I don't have a boyfriend" you glance up at him mouth pursed but slightly open and loose

"One night stand?" He asked holding in a smile

One night stand? OH

You suddenly came to the realization. He must've been referring to Dabi

"Why is everyone saying that?" You muttered covering your face with your hands, feeling your face heat up

"It's not like that"

"Sureee"

"I'm serious"

"Righttt"

"He's just a friend"

"with benefits?"

You couldn't help but laugh at his comment. You were nowhere near Dabi's type at all. He looked like the type of guy who was more into rocker punk type girls or someone who would help him rob a bank with him just because they felt like it

And you were not that type of person. You were the one who would try and convince him to put on face masks with you and spend the whole day just watching movies together

You felt like you were too boring for his taste. A pharmacist student who was chosen by the league because they had no other choice. But even then, you and the league had grown fond of each other, you were always poking fun of each other. They didn't find your clumsy and odd personality weird. And ever since you joined them, you felt a little less lonely.

And Dabi despite his cold and cocky demeanor, you could tell he was secretly just as lonely as you. Your different personalities but similar situations are what perhaps made you guys click so easily.

The thought of this slowly made you grin, you had this stupid lovesick puppy look on your face

Your coworker noticed this and smiled

"Just a friend my ass" he mumbled

~ at the end of the day at the League's base

"You found anyone?" Tomura asked placing down his game controller

"Not yet, everyone I find is useless" Dabi muttered

"Not [y/n] I admit you outdid yourself by finding her" he complimented

"Just got lucky" he shrugged. His eyes glued to the floor, wondering where were you at this moment, and what were you doing

Toga walked in swinging her knife around

"Is [y/n]- chan not here yet?" She pouted walking over to the two males

"Not yet" Tomura answered

"Guess she must be with the cute guy from this morning" she smiled throwing a casual glance at Dabi

Immediately catching Dabi's attention. His eyes shot straight at Toga, narrowing them before asking

"What guy?"

Toga giggled and turn to face Dabi

"I don't know who he was, but she was wearing the same clothes from last night" She cooed

"[y/n] isn't that type of girl" Kurogiri chimed in

"She's too innocent and awkward"

"It was probably just a friend" Twice mentioned

"Well that was a REALLY good looking friend" Toga smiled

"How good looking are we talking?" Mr.Compress chimed in making his way inside the bar

"REALLY good looking. Like he had these bright golden eyes . And the prettiest eyelashes I've ever seen!" Toga ranted

Dabi felt his blood rise.

Who was this guy?

Clenching his fist he felt his quirk start to tingle on his fingertips.

And why were you doing with him so early in the morning?

Jealousy tore at his whole being. Were you that desperate to get away from him after last night?

And to think he thought you actually liked being around him, maybe last night wasn't as intimate for you as it was for him.

Of course, what did he expect? That someone like you would have feelings for someone like him?

He made his way over to a bar stool taking a seat next to Tomura. Tossing your sandwich down the garbage

"What's the matter, jealous?" Tomura smiled smugly grabbing his drink

"Of?" Dabi raised an eyebrow at him, gesturing to Kurogiri to pass him a drink

"[y/n] and the good looking guy she was hanging out with" he snickered

"Don't be stupid" Dabi muttered

He can't be that good looking

"She was worry about you last night you know.." Tomura said  "...You should've told her you were sick"

Dabi scoffed  "Whatever"

Tomura stood up from his seat, "Kurogiri, Twice, Toga and Compress let's go, we have someone to meet" Tomura said

"What about Big sis Magne?" Toga asked

"We'll pick her up on the way" he said stepping inside Kurogiri's warp gate

Leaving Dabi alone at the bar, buried deep in his thoughts. He didn't want to admit it, but the thought of you being with someone else annoyed him.

He sat there impatiently waiting for you at the bar, hoping you two could walk home together and talk
