Before the dawn breaks, Sangwoo managed to convince Ari to go back to the motel. He told her to come up first and Sangwoo followed a few minutes later but before he could walk up the stairs, the woman at the reception suddenly came. She looked at Sangwoo suspiciously while squinting her eyes and Sangwoo sighed exasperatedly.
"I went out for a smoke, alright?" He said a bit too harshly as he continued to walk.
When he came up inside the room, he found Ari sound asleep and he stopped as he stood there in front, just staring at her.
"She already fell asleep?" Sangwoo asked as he shook his head and looked out the window. "We still have a few hours, maybe I'll let her sleep some more."
He could not risk staying in this place so they needed to go back to Seoul once morning arises. He needed them to be in his house in Seoul before the Police here started to search for them, that way he will have an alibi.
Sangwoo sat on the couch as he leaned on the headrest, watching Ari as she took small deliberate breaths, the sound calming him down.
"She really did it," he said. "This girl," he scoffed before shaking his head.
He didn't even see her get scared of the consequences of what she's done. Sangwoo closed his eyes, he wasn't really going to sleep, he doubt if he could anyways.
His mind was awake and after two hours or so, he felt someone watching him and he opened his eyes to see Ari sitting on the bed, staring at him.
