Blake: "It's not my fault the cops showed up."
Josh: "You just dropped the whole bag?"
Noah: "I can't believe you had that stuff in the first place. You're both dumb af for that."
Josh: "Not all of us are like you and have a full ride to college soccer scholarship as only a Junior and have to be tested for substances 24/7."
Noah: "I stand by my statement... you're both idiots."
Tayler: *to Josh* "Dude, you were literally dumb enough to fall asleep in bed with your girl when our parents were on the way home. The last thing you need to do is smoke more."
Kelianne: "Oh my God. You didn't. I would die."
Nate: "You'd have to find someone willing to date you first."

Tayler laughed and then felt bad so he rubbed his hand across her knee and smiled at her.
Nessa: "It was the literal worst. His parents already hated me."

Josh: "They don't hate you. They just are miserable people who probably hate everyone."
Amelie: "Don't feel bad. Blake's parents almost caught us in his car in the driveway a few weeks ago."

*END JOSH'S POV*
You headed downstairs to leave the plate in the sink and Dixie followed behind. When you came out of the kitchen, she was already deep in conversation and no one was making a big deal so you sat in the chair and joined in hoping your brothers wouldn't act rude again. Josh and Blake were having a quiet conversation about what happened earlier tonight and Tayler was trying to comfort Kelianne because her brother had really made her mad.
Noah: *to Dixie* "You're in my Spanish 2 class aren't you?"
Dixie: "Yeah, I'm totally going to end up failing."
Noah: "I have an A in there. I'd be willing to help you out if you ever want to hang and study."
Bryce moved closer to your chair and sat on the arm. He rested his arm on your shoulder and smiled down at you: "Isn't it past your bedtime?"
You: *pushing his arm off* "Very funny."
Bryce: "I'm just teasing. You know that. Sorry that your brothers were being asses."
You: "You sure didn't seem to be in a rush to stick up for me."
Bryce: "They're my friends. What did you want me to do?"
You: "Correction, Tayler is your friend. Josh can't stand you."
Bryce: "Fair enough. How about I get you a drink and we call it even."
Tayler: *to Kelianne* "You doing ok?"
Kelianne: "Yeah, I know he was just joking. It just makes me think sometimes... what if something is wrong with me and that's why- uh- like no one one wants to be with me."
Tayler: "Dude, you're like the hottest girl in this room. Hell you're the hottest girl in most rooms. You're gonna do just fine. Don't be in a rush to find some dude who isn't nearly good enough for you just because you're too young to know what you deserve."
Kelianne: "What if I already know what I want?"
Tayler was distracted by seeing Bryce whispering to his little sister and didn't actually hear what Kelianne had said to him. When he saw him hand her a solo cup that he knew full well had alcohol in it, he jumped up and grabbed it out of her hand.
Bryce: "Dude, chill. She's 16 not 12... you were already drinking at parties at that age. Don't be so uptight."
Tayler: "You are the last person that needs to be deciding that for my little sister."
Bryce: "What is your problem? It's just a drink. It's not like we were doing anything and you're flipping."
Before Tayler can argue back, Josh jumped up and yelled: "Mom just texted to ask if we needed anything because they are on the way home."
Everyone gathered up their stuff and started loading into their cars. Even Bryce shook his head at Tayler and grabbed his keys to leave.
You, Dixie, Josh, and Tayler started cleaning up the mess but Tayler took the opportunity to lecture you on staying away from Bryce. They'd been friends a long time and Tayler knew the kind of trouble that came with being close to him.
