A few days later you are laying on the couch laughing with Nick.
Nick: “Oh my God. You’re joking. That can’t be your favorite movie!!”

You: “Don’t you make fun of me. Live Action Cat in the Hat is a classic.”
Nick: “Awe, pumpkin. I’d never make fun of you. I think you’re absolutely adorable. You and your love of movies I haven’t watched since I was 5.”
You tossed a pillow at him and he caught it then playfully hit you with it as you both laughed hysterically. The front door swung open. Tayler walked in and you sat up nervous about how he’d react to the first guy you’d brought over to the house. You’re surprised when Tayler plopped down on the other couch and pulled out his phone.
Tayler: “I’m not interrupting am I?”
You: “Uh- No, not at all.”
Nick: “Hey man, I’m Nick. You must be Josh?”
Tayler: *teasing* “So close. You almost got me to like you. I’m Tayler, the other brother.”
Josh: *coming down the stairs* “Did I hear someone say my name?”
You got even more nervous, but much to your surprise Tayler is totally cool about it and Josh comes in and asks if Tayler wants to play vid games then they include Nick

Josh: *to Tayler* "Are you gonna actually play or get distracted on your phone?"
Tayler: “Oh don’t even start. You’re the one always with your girlfriend. I’ve had to resort to trying to teach our sister to play fortnite just to have someone to play with.”
You: “What? I’m getting better!!!”
Tayler: “You literally only play so you can make your character dance on people after I kill them.”
Josh: *handing Nick a remote* “We are playing multiplayer. Wanna play?”
Nick: “Yeah- Uh sure.”
The boys are having a blast playing the war-time game that you don’t even almost understand. Everyone is getting along so well you wonder if this is what it’d be like dating someone that isn’t destined to tear your family apart.
Josh was shot for the 10th time and he jumped up yelling at the computerized bot player when he felt his phone vibrate and tossed the controller next to you: “Oh crap. I was supposed to go to dinner with Nessa. Do you guys wanna go?”
Nick: *looks to you for approval* “I mean, if we won’t be intruding that sounds fun.”
Josh: “Tayler, call Kelianne and invite her too so you’re not 5th wheeling like a sad-sack.”
At dinner you are having the best time. Everyone is getting along so perfectly and you don’t remember the last time you and your brothers actually all hung out with no one arguing. After the check is paid, The boys head off to get the car from valet while you 3 girls head to the bathroom to ‘freshen up.’
Nessa: “Girl, Nick is like waaaay cute.”
Kelianne: “Way hotter than his friend who tried to hook up with you at first.”
You: “More importantly, he’s not a super-douche like his friend.”
Nessa: “I can’t believe that jerk pulled what he did. You are so better off with Nick than that piece of garbage.”
Tayler knocked then peeked his head in: “Not to interrupt the secret coven meeting in here, but the car is here. You girls ready?”
On the drive home everyone is jamming to music. Tayler’s car didn’t have nearly as good of bass as Nick’s but Nick’s literally only sat 2 people while Tayler’s was an SUV that could seat 7 comfortably.
Nick: “Hey, turn down the music a sec… my friend just invited me to a party tonight. I haven’t been going because I don’t really want to run into Ryland, but he’s out of town so I thought maybe we could all go?”
You: “I’d love to normally, but Dixie is supposed to be coming over and all 4 of us girls are having a sleepover.”
Nick: “What about you guys?”
Josh looked at Nessa for approval and she giggled: “Go baby. Have fun.”
