Lexie had been avoiding Simon ever since she told him that she thought that she was falling in love with him.

She was scared and she felt like she had messed up what they had and she didn't know what to do. She ran her hands through her hair and sighed as she wakes into the kitchen and saw esme and smiled

"where's mum" Lexie asked her older sister "she left early. She said she can't bunk off anymore school or she is grounding you until Christmas" esme said as Lexie looked to her and rolled her eyes

"she's so dramatic"

"you know she's right you can't miss anymore school not now. You told him you were falling in love with him and you were expecting him to say it back and it's how it is some times but you can't not go to school or mum will have questions" esme said as Lexie looked to her and sighed.

Lexie knew that esme was cashing was right and as much as she wanted to avoid Simon after what she said that she couldn't avoid him forever and that she did have to face him

Lexie got to school and sat in the cooler. She looked as Nikki walked in and sighed as she sat back in her chair

"so do you want to tell me why you attacked Barry?" She asked as she took a sit opposite her. Lexie looked up at her

"do you care?"

"Of course I do. I know it doesn't seem like I do but I am your mother and I love you and I want to know why. I want to know what is going on with you" Nikki said as Lexie looked to her for a moment and sighed

"he deserved it" Lexie said

"and I don't disagree I want to know what he did to piss you off" Nikki asked as Lexie looked to her and smiled

"he asked me for sex and I refused and then he said he paid and said that's all I was good for. I lost it mum, I didn't mean too. I was trying to stay out of trouble" Lexie said as Nikki looked to her and smiled

"I know i will sort Barry out and I'm afraid Christine wants you back in the PRU for two weeks" Nikki said as Lexie sighed

"just great" Lexie said.

Lexie knew that she in a lot of trouble and she always seemed to get in trouble when she didn't try

Lexie sighed as she was walking down the hall as she saw Simon

"we need to talk" he said as she looked to him and rolled her eyes

"I'm not in the mood"

"I don't care" he said as he grabbed her arm and pulled her into the empty classroom. She looked to him and sighed as she ran a hand through her hair

"you have been avoiding me. You haven't been in" he said as she sighed

"well I made a idiot of myself admitting how I felt" she said

"no, you didn't. I'm sorry I froze it was a shock. I didn't expect it but I think I love you too lex and I am not just saying that" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"it's not like we can be together" she said as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"we can. We will make it work I promise" he said as he leant in and kissed her unaware of how everything was going to change
