Chapter 16

"Wow, ang ganda ng view rito," Bella said as I parked in our garage.

"True! Bebi, you picked a great place to live," said Reign who is currently carrying Heaven. "When I first got here to check out your place, I already felt as if I am your mom who's proud of the outcome you've worked hard for ng ilang years!"

I smiled. Ilang taon na rin naming pinag-ipunan ni Hayden ang bahay namin. Ilang araw at gabi kaming nagpagod sa ospital para masagot ang mga pangangailangan para sa kapakanan ng anak namin.

We didn't get to buy a house when we got married because we suddenly had our very own Heaven. We didn't expect to have Heaven, but when she came into our lives she gave us so much hope. Nadagdagan ang mga motivation namin. She was a beautiful gift that God has sent us. I thank God for not forsaking us, especially when Heaven survived when we fell down the staircase and when Hayden passed out while we were confessing how much we missed each other.

Now that we finally got to buy our own home for our family, it felt like all of our hard work paid off. Ang gaan sa pakiramdam na ngayon, makakatira na kami sa isang bahay. Kumuha na rin kami ng mga housekeeper at ibang mga katiwala sa bahay. Pati na rin ang babysitter na puwedeng magbantay kay Heaven, dahil hindi naman kami laging nasa bahay dahil sa duty namin. Hindi rin naman araw-araw, nandito sa Baguio sina Reign at Bel.

Pumasok kami sa bahay at nakita ang resulta ng trinabaho ni Reign ng ilang buwan dahil medyo busy rin siya sa iba niyang gawain para sa mga brand.

"Uy, iba! Ang ganda! Thank you!" I said as I covered my ears, shocked and still processing. "Reign!"

"Geez, don't get emotional. We might actually think that you're pregnant again," she joked. "Pero sure! Sorry rin, natagalan. Busy schedule!"

"Okay lang, ano ka ba?"

"Hoy, pero oo nga, baka mamaya buntis ka na naman!" Bella said as she carried Heaven, but the little girl's eyes opened.

"Tita, down," she said, so Bella let her stand while holding her hand.

Reign started walking and talking about the design of the house while I was busy adoring how it looks. We entered Heaven's room and roamed around. It was a pink Scandinavian room, perfect for our baby girl. Well, our whole place was Scandinavian to keep our house look just simple, minimalist, and clean looking.

Heaven ran to the little stuffed toy she saw that was given by Thea. She seemed so happy. It seems like she loved her room since she kept on running here. "I'm so happy na she likes her room," Reign said.

"Mukha ngang nagustuhan niya," Bella said as she was watching my daughter run. "Sundan n'yo na si Heaven, lalaki naman! 'Wag lang kabaliktaran ng pangalan niya 'yong ibigay n'yo, ah? Minus points sa langit kung gano'n binigay n'yo."

We chuckled. Next baby? Hindi natin alam kung kailan 'yon.

"Anyway, let's go to the next room na," sabi ni Reign. "Heaven, baby? Let's go to your mom and dad's room!" She called her and even opened her arms, but Heaven ran to Bella.

"Mukhang si Tita Arabella ang favorite ni Heaven!" Tumawa si Bella at hinawakan ang kamay ni Heaven. Tinawanan na lang din siya ni Reign at ginabayan kami papunta sa kuwarto namin ni Hayden.

"Ah, this is where our second pamangkin will be made, 'no?" Reign smirked at me as we entered.

"Ay, dito ba? Malay mo kasi," singit ni Bella.

"Hoy, ang bastos!" sabi ko nang patawa. They looked at me with an expression, telling me that they cannot believe what I have just said.

After visiting the house, we went back to the condo. Habang hindi pa dumidilim, nagpunta ako sa rooftop. I go here sometimes to get fresh air and to relax myself a bit whenever I am stressed out.
