'that's true Sydney, you know what would make it much better? Your clients I was supposed to meet', I gave her a smile
'um actually their flight got delayed from France' she pressed her teeth (it was the first time her expressions changed) 'they will arrive tomorrow we can have a meeting then' she said going back to an excited face
'ugh' I felt so exhausted I wanted to leave this party and go to brad as soon as possible so that's what I did

I went to brad's office, I hugged him from the back and gave him a kiss
'I'm working Lisa', he said in a playful voice
Wait what wait LISA??!!?? 'LISA?' I shouted
'whoa wait Bianca what are you doing here?' he got up with his face drowned in worry
'brad are you cheating on me?' tears started to gather in my eyes 'see Bianca it's not that big of a deal'
'NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL?' tears started to flow down my cheeks 'MY HUSBAND CHEATING ON ME IS NOT BIG OF A DEAL?'
'B just listen to me-'
'I hate you' I pushed him away as I ran away

I walked into my office pressing my palm against my lips and trying my best to gulp down everything but I couldn't I felt so weak for the first time I released myself on the floor and didn't hold anything but cried straight through my heart like a baby. I felt like a loser whom people can win on all my hard work seemed to be drowning I couldn't stop myself with every tear dropping I felt like a failure my chest was getting heavy and I couldn't breathe.
