She's heard stories from her father about the time he visited Jurassic park interacting with the dinosaurs. He told her facts about the metriacanthosaurus, and how the Sauroposeidon travel in herds.
Alan Grant knew his daughter was exactly like him, and that's what scared him. He knew one day she would want to travel and see them, no matter what she had to do, but when the day has finally come he protested as much as he could.
No one in their right mind would take up a job offer that could end your life within seconds, but Ria was different.
