Depression's Response to You Will Be Found from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hanson

I have always felt like nobody was there

I've always felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere

I've always felt like I could disappear

Like I could fall

And no one would hear

I've tried to let the lonely feeling wash away

I've tried to see a reason to believe I'll be okay

And I don't feel strong enough to stand

But I'm afraid to reach out my hand.

No, no one has ever come running

And I've never found my way home

Now that the dark has come crashing through.

I have no one to carry me

I'm broken on the ground.

Will I be found?

Will the sun come streaming in?

Will I ever rise again?

I can't bare to look around

Will I be found?
