The next morning Korra wake up before Kuvira and Asami and head down stair to talk to her parents about the ceremony.
Korra: Good Morning
Senna: Morning Sweetheart
Tonraq: Morning little one
Korra: Dad we talk about this
Tonraq: Korren Jay Avatar we did
Korra: Ok you got me
Senna: Tonraq really
Tonraq: what she left me no choose
Korra: Any way, I want to talk about this ceremony
Senna: oh yes, I cannot wait
Korra: About that the girls are not ready for it, I told them it was basically like our wedding and it though them for a loop
Tonraq: So, they dont want to be part of the family I take it
Korra: That not what I am saying
Senna: Then what are you saying than
Korra: I dont think we should do it because they are not ready, and I know how much it means to us
Tonraq: I While it look like I will make some calls and cancel everything
Senna: (sad) yes, we do not want them to be uncomfortable
Korra: I am so sorry, just try not to let them know how this affect us please
Tonraq: yes, of course
With that Korra give her parents a small smile and head back up to wake the girls up, once she arrive, she notice the bed was empty and call out to them
Kuvira: We was clean up love
Asami: where did you go
Korra: Oh, (rubbing the back her neck) I went to talk with my parents
Asami: how did that go
Korra: As good as it can
Kuvira: So, what did they say
Korra: Nothing, I just told them to cancel the ceremony
Kuvira and Asami: WHAT
Korra: yea, I know you two are not ready and your express from last night let me know that
Kuvira: What do you mean
Korra: Look just because you say yal would not mind having my kids and that yal love me, but we have not been together that long and who know made down the road you two will change your mind
Asami: Korra, we do love you and would not have said other wise and just because we surprise last night do not mean we dont want to be with you
Kuvira: I do not plan on going anywhere unless you want me to, I cannot speak for Asami, but I do love you and I still want a family with you, but I am not ready to be marry just yet maybe after we hit our year mark where I know we really do love each other
Asami; Hey, I do love Korra and feel the same as you Kuvira
Korra: Look its ok and I already told my parents, so they are calling to cancel everything
Kuvira: I bet your parents think bad of us
Korra: No, they dont but lets go eat
The girls walk down to the kitchen where their breakfast was waiting. Everyone said their good morning and ate in silence.
Korra: Mom what are the plans for today
Senna: Well beside what we talk about earlier nothing really why
Korra: Just asking
Asami: I know we all can feel how tense the air so I would like to dress the elephant in the room
Kuvira: yes, its not that we do not want to have the ceremony, because we do it just, we only been dating for what 6 months and we just feel like its not the right time to get marry
Senna: No, we understand we do, but I have a feeling you took it the wrong way
Asami: What do you mean
Senna: The ceremony we was going to hold was to introduce you to our tribe and welcome you into the family if you are serious about being with Korra
Kuvira: So, its not a wedding
Tonraq; No, we do our wedding different here and its a two-week process
Asami: why two-weeks
Tonraq: Cause the first week Korra have to go out and hunt by herself and prove that see will be able to prove for her choice spouse and in this cause, she would have to bring back double the meat because she have two spouses. The next week if she complete this is when we celebrate her success until that that Friday when yal are to be wedding and that Saturday you will spend all day in the newly wed hut and unite as one.
Kuvira: See I like the sound of that
Asami: Yea me two, Korra why didnt you just say all of that
Korra: I figure yal just did not want to do it
Tonraq and Senna: KORREN JAY AVATAR
Korra: really the full name
Kuvira and Asami: Korren
Korra: Fuck
Senna: Language
Asami: Why did yal call Korra, Korren
Senna: Because that is Korra birth name but later she change it
Kuvira: Wait so was you born as a boy or a girl
Korra: I think they assume I was a boy but as I got old, I start to feel out like a girl and my voice never really deepen
Asami: I think we have a lot to talk about because now I know what the ceremony is, I kind of want to do it
Kuvira: Yea me too, unless its to late
Tonraq: why dont we figure that out right now because I know yal leave in two days to go back home
With that being said they sent the whole even figure out everything. At the end of the day the decide to do the ceremony right before they left. So everything was set in motion.

Author note: Sorry it a short chapter, I am kind of hitting a small road block with this story, I know they way I want to take it just do not know how to get it there right now. But I promise once I get over it the chapters will be back to being long.
