💙First Date: Huening Kai💙

You and Kai continued to talk for a while after meeting. You get to know each other pretty well and you decide that you wanted to make a move and ask him out on a date.

- Hey, Kai!

- Hey, Y/N.

- What's up?

- I wanted to ask you something.

- Okay, ask away!

- Would you like to go to the zoo with me tomorrow?

- Sure! That sounds really fun!

- Okay, great!

The next day, you're doing your hair and you hear a knock on your door.

"I got it!" you yell to your roommate.

"Is that your date?" they ask.

"Yeah."

"Okay, have fun!"

You answer the door and see Kai smiling.

"Hey, Y/N," he says, entering your apartment.

"Hey, Kai. I'm almost done getting ready."

"Okay. I'll just wait here," he says, sitting down on your couch.

You quickly finish getting ready and grab your things. You take an Uber to the nearest zoo. You pay to get in and start touring the enclosures.

"Hey, look! A panda!" you say excitedly, dragging Kai over to the habitat.

"Ooo, cute," he says shyly.

You look over at him and see that he's blushing.

"Why are you blushing so much?" you ask curiously.

"Because you held my hand..."

"Oh. Did you not want me to do that?"

"No, no. I liked it. It was nice. I just didn't know that we were... like that."

"Like what?"

"Being... romantic."

"Oh, well, I asked you on this date so I thought that we were... being romantic."

"Gah... I should've known."

"Known what?"

"That this was a date! Yeonjun told me that it sounded like one but I wasn't sure. But I'm glad that this is a date because I really, really like you, Y/N."

You smile widely, "I really, really like you too, Kai."

You spend the rest of the day looking at the animals and taking tons of polaroids. Kai walks you home and immediately texts you.

- I had a lot of fun today.

- Me too, Kai, me too.
