It's Friday evening and we, along with Elijah, are at Camila's house in her room.

The boys and Hayley stayed in her living room.
Chris and Elijah seemed to had gotten closer and the more I think about it, the more I realized how different they are.

Chris is the quiet type and would rather listen to us talk.

Elijah is more outspoken, but gets shy around him. I peeped Chris smiling at Elijah when we walked in, and the boy looked as if he'd faint.

Relatable.

Camila was the only one not dressed. She was in the process of getting her hair done up by Jesy while Melanie was fixing her makeup at her vanity.

She had redyed her hair and interestingly enough, made her eyebrows blue. Only she can pull it off. What a goddess.

"So are Chris and Elijah dating now or what?" The girl asks while applying eyeshadow.

"You noticed too? I thought I was tripping," Camila voices while looking up from her phone. "I ship it, though."

"Ugh, same," Jade voices while messing with things on Camila's dresser. "Chris has been single since year 9."

"Hopefully, they'd get closer tonight and get even closer later," Jesy says in a naughty tone. "Babe, why are you still thinkin' about stuff like that?" Jade says in faux annoyance while spraying Camila's perfume in the air to smell it.

She nods in approval which made me giggle a bit.

"Well, when your girlfriend is a gorgeous, promising future football star, it's hard to not think about it," she winks at her.

Mel and I make gagging noises. "What? Not my fault I'm obsessed with my girl," the older girl defends.

"Are you or the sex you have with your girl?" Jade asks while approaching Jesy. The older girl rolls her eyes while finishing Camila's hair. Jade playfully kisses her cheek.

"I find it funny how I got dress coded yesterday, yet tonight there's no dress code. Just wear yellow or black," I say and Melanie agrees.

"It's a loophole in the rules saying that students gotta follow dress codes during all natural school functions. Homecoming isn't a natural school function," Melanie wiggles her blue brows.

"How did you even get the administration to agree with this?" Jesy asked after she was done with Camila's hair. "When you're head girl, you practically run the school," Jade answered that time.

"Last year, I requested for the football team to go to a Southampton vs Liverpool game."

"It happened?" Jade takes her phone out of her pocket and shows it to me. Her home screen was of her and Alex in their school jerseys posing with a few players from Liverpool.

"Wow," I say with an impressed look. She puts her phone back in her pocket. I started to ask if there was a chance I could go for head girl next year, but I killed the idea.

"Winkle, what's the matter?" Jesy asks while taking a seat next to me on Camila's bed. "Does Leanrich choose who's head girl?" She nods regrettably. "It's fucked up because Chris had all of the qualifications to be head boy last year and this year."
