We pull into our school's parking lot at 9, already hearing music coming from the building. I didn't recognize it at first, until Elijah starts singing.
"Never need a bitch, I'm what a bitch need .Tryna find the one that can fix me."
Oh!
"I've been dodging death in the six-speed," I continue and we sing the next part together; Andre even joined in. "Amphetamine got my stummy feeling sickly," Elijah starts dancing as soon as we exited Jesy's car.
"Okay, but The Weeknd can get it," he says. "Honestly, the only guy I'd go straight for," Jesy fans herself. "Yous know he has a big," Elijah widens his arms to compensate says as we walk towards the building.
It was me, Melanie, Elijah, and Andre that rode with Jesy while the others rode with Hayley. They hadn't showed up just yet because Alex had to wee.
"He has the energy," he shrugs and Jesy agrees. "I still miss his palm tree," Andre says, stuffing a hand in his pocket. I nod, putting a hand on his shoulder, "Me too, mate. Me too."
Hayley's headlights shines over us and both twins poke their heads out of each backseat window, singing.
"... Bad bitch, still talking cash shit. Pussy like water, I'm unbothered and relaxing. I would never trip on a ... if I had him. Bitch, that's my trash, you the maid, so you bagged him, ah," they both stick their tongues out at the ending then start doing the dance to the chorus.
We all joined in because, let's be real, Megan can make anyone feel like a bad bitch.
They park beside Jesy's car before Hayley turns the radio down. The twins were displeased and ducked their heads back in the car. "Yo, Keyboard, the bloody fuck, man?" Alex asks, sounding hilariously like his sister.
When Hayley turns the car off, Chris steps out of the passenger seat and closes the door. Elijah does a little squeal before going to him. Chris saw him and smiles as he hugs him.
"Awe, so tute," I say in a baby voice while putting my hand over my chest. "So, so tute," Jesy says, standing beside me.
"C'mon, jack offs, the song's about to end!" Andre, who was already at the door, motions for us to hurry up.
"Hold onto your balls, Gray. We're comin'," Jade says while hooking her arm on Jesy's.
"Tonight is gonna be amazing. I can feel it in my ass."
"That's not the only thing you'd feel in your ass tonight, Eli."
"JESY!"

"Holy shite, the whole school's in here," I say. Even though this is mainly for the above level secondary years, 9 to 12, it really looks as if most of the school is here."I mean, it's the first ever Homecoming thingy. Pretty sure no one would miss it," Andre says before getting greeted by a teammate.
On the other side of the gym was a small stage with two throne-like chairs with golden crowns on each seat.
"Hey, Mel?"
"Yeah?"
"What're those doing up there?" I ask while looking at her. "That's where the homecoming kings or queens sit."
I remember when her, Camila, and Hayley explained what homecoming is; all the aspects of prom, but without a dress code. I still have no idea how she pulled this off. JHGS is a rather pristine place, yet what me and Jesy are wearing right now would result in being kicked out of Hampden and kicked in to Westbriar.
