Author's Note: this ship was requested by KosaiKitsune, thank you for requesting! Apologies that I skipped ships, not because I didn't want to do them, but because I promised to do this one as quickly as I can, so once again, apologies! :<
Hope you enjoy the prompt, by the way :D
also, if you can see in the above picture, Veronica is in the background, but far, far away, trying not to look suspicious-
also, that the three of us (Jo, Nave, who is my friend, and me, Alab) were all evil, lol-

[THIRD PERSON]
"Hey!" a voice called from behind. Jo turned around. She wasn't expecting anybody over today, but she was willing to make an exception.
It was her best friend Veronica, but she was leaning on a crutch, slowly wobbling forward with every step she took.
"What happened?" Jo asked, running over to help her balance. Veronica just smiled, shaking her long, brown hair.
"Nothing, I just twisted my ankle, so I'm using this to help keep me steady," she explained, gesturing to the cast wrapped around her foot, then looking over to the crutch she was leaning on.
"How did you break it? I thought you were always careful," Jo asked, looking a bit concerned.
"I wasn't watching where I was going, then bam! Next thing I know it, ambulance came, then I got checked by an x-ray," she said, with a small laugh. She always laughed things off, it was in her nature to. She couldn't help it, it just made her a bit more comfortable than hurt.
Jo helped Veronica up the porch steps of the house and into her living room. Nave wasn't there, he was out with Cactus and his friend Cash, so they had the house to themselves. Jo made some warm tea, and they sipped it as they talked for a while. Soon, it grew dark, the moon rising, and the orange hue in the sky. The stars came out, and sparkled in the evening darkness.
"Hey, I just got an idea," Jo announced, as she rummaged through a few desk drawers nearby. Veronica watched curiously, with a blanket wrapped around herself in a timely manner.
"Here," Jo said, handing the brunette-haired a small, yellow flashlight. She took it, as Jo explained her idea. "We should go star-gazing! It's a beautiful night tonight! Here, I'll help you with your ankle..."
Veronica nodded, and took a while to get herself on her feet, as using just one foot is tiring enough. Jo helped her outside, leaning against her shoulder to keep her balance.
They carefully sat down on the porch steps, a bit of wood creaking beneath their feet. They looked up into the sky, and see the endless wonders of the stars, glimmering beautifully in the moon's light. They awed over constellations that they had learned about, happily just sitting together and enjoying themselves. It was like their childhood had come back to them, just reliving the old days.
After a long while of relaxing on the porch, Jo suddenly heard a bit of soft breathing leaning on her shoulder. She looked down to see Veronica, head on her shoulder, asleep and breathing softly in the cool breeze. Smiling, the ombre-haired carried the girl back inside the house into the living room, where, she too, fell asleep, with the brunette-haired by her side.
Hope you enjoyed, and lots of love to you all, apologies for making you all wait for my oneshots~
