Please tell me that I am fine,
These scorching pains are on fire,
Burning me from in,
Never letting me win.
Please tell me that I am fine,
My tears are just saline,
Crawling down my face,
Never stopping to cease,
Please tell me that I am fine,
The aching desire to die,
Are nothing but a lie,
That I am longing for life.
Please tell me that I am fine,
These visions I see in night,
Make me wake up in fright,
I want to fight with all my might,
But I can't seem to stop at sight.
Please I beg of you,
Tell me that I am fine,
Why don't I get out of these?
Why they always go make me feel trapped?
Please tell me that I am fine,
It's okay to not be alright,
That these are just moments of deepest torment,
Then there will ever be comfort,
And that will be their biggest defeat.
