I was trying to keep positive for her in case there was any possibility that she might just be able to hear me.
My poor sweet Carlie had been in here for two months now.
All I wanted to do was tell her how much I loved her.
How much I wish I could hold her hand."I'm not sure if you can hear me but I'm tired of not being able to tell you how I feel.
I-I can't survive without you. I thought I could but it's inevitable that I was always going to come back to you.
You are just so beautiful, you're perfectly sculpted bone structure and your kind smile.
I need you Carlie, you are my other half, my everything. My one true love.
I remember everything and if you could just show me that you can hear me.
Anything please just show me.If people could just love long enough, hard enough and deeply enough nothing could or will ever harm us.
I promise my love.I truly believe with my whole heart that if the world was to carry the same amount of love than it did people everyone would have infinite happiness and infinite tenderness.
In which it is the only thing I strive to have.I haven't left your side since I was told you weren't going to wake up.
I won't let them tell me you won't make it.
I keep telling everyone that you're strong enough, that we're strong enough.
But the truth is I don't think I am, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep gazing at your hopeless body wishing you would just wake up.Nothing is ever as simple as people make it out to be.
Love is complicated but it is beautiful.
Love can conquer or destroy but it has only ever done us good.I love you Carlie."
My eyes now streaming, creating a clear puddle onto her clean green shirt.
My cheeks burning and my eyes hazy.I felt a weak squeeze as she quietly uttered,
"Always and forever right."I grabbed her tightly, bringing her close.
I pulled away as our lips smashed together.Everything was how it was supposed to be.
"I love you so much!" I pleaded.
"I love you too but I do need to breathe." She giggled with seriousness.
"I'm sorry love, I'm j-just happy that you're finally awake." I responded.
"Doctor, I need you in here now!" I shouted.
Three doctors came running in.
"She's awake!" One doctor pleaded.
"It's a miracle." Another answered.
"Darling I need to tell mother you're okay.
I'll be back okay, I love you." I said happily. She smiled a faint smile as I left the room.
I was racing the never ending corridors of the enormous hospital.
"Mother!" I shouted.
"Mother. Where are you?" I shouted once again."I'm here, is everything okay?" She pleaded.
"She's- she's awake mother." I responded with a sea of tears flooding my rosy cheeks.
Mother looked at me distant and confused. We rushed back to her room.
There she was sat perfectly perched with the biggest smile spreading across her face."Although you are awake and in full recovery Miss Carlie, you need to rest and try not to move too much." The doctor said in a controlled tone.
"I understand." She replied softly.
"You're back!" She said with excitement.
"Yes darling we're back is everything okay?" I asked worriedly.
"Yes I'm fine I promise. Who have you brought with you?" She questioned.
"It's mumsy sweetie, I'm so glad you're okay!" Mumsy responded walking towards her slowly.
"Get away from me please. I-I don't know you.
Tommie please do something." She cried."Mother, I'm sorry. Could you please wait outside? I'll try my best." I asked sadly.
"Y-yes." Mother trembled.
"Carlie, darling calm down. What's wrong?" I queried.
"Why would you bring her here? You know what she did to me. I hate her." Carlie cried.
"Carlie, that's mumsy. She took you in when your parents neglected you.
She loved you like her own daughter.
She made sure you were safe and that you grew up in a loving home." I replied calmly."What do you mean? That's my mother. She abused me. She hates me." Carlie responded.
"No sweetie that's not your mother, she's my mother. She loves you.
You haven't spoken to your real mother since we were little." I answered."Oh my gosh, you have to get her back in here so I can apologize. Please." She sobbed.
"Mother, could you please come back?" I asked kindly.
"Hi sweetie, I'm sorry I scared you." Mother cried.
"No I'm sorry, I thought you were my real mother who hated me.
I didn't realize you were the one who took me in and loved me like your own.
I'm so sorry mumsy." Carlie replied."It's okay baby, please don't cry." Mother wrapped her arms around Carlie.
