"So you think I should be his new therapist?" She repeated, making sure she heard right and it wasn't her brain making stuff up.

Erwin nods in response. Mikasa raised an eyebrow, "You do know that I know nothing about being a therapist." She says.

"Yes, I am aware of that."

"Then how would it make sense if I be his therapist?"

"Well, not really a therapist, but talk to him, alone." He continues. "Become his friend. Someone who he is comfortable talking to." He said.

"And why would I agree to do that?"

Erwin sighed and crossed his arms. "Because I am curious about how he'll behave with you. He clearly doesn't behave so well with others."

"Me?"

"As I mentioned before, he acts a bit off around you." He says. "Not completely off, but weird. Good thing he didn't harm Hanji." He chuckled.

Mikasa glared and crossed both her arms. "You must be a fool to believe that I'll actually do as you say." She says.

He chuckled, "Careful with the words you use Miss Mikasa. I am your boss after all. If you want to keep the job, then do it. You'll be fired if you don't. Aside from that, if you do agree then I'll obviously pay you more." He said.

He then approached her and placed a hand on her shoulder and leaned down to her level.

"And I'm pretty sure you're just as curious as we are to know more about him." He smirks and removes his hand from her shoulder. Her eyes widened a bit.

Erwin stepped away and waited for her response. Mikasa was going to refuse working with him. But then she recalls the time where she was doing kitchen duty and he was staring at her while she was cleaning.

He had a kitchen knife with him, and as much as she hates to admit it, but he could've stabbed her.

"You're lucky I didn't end you a few days ago!"

"Then why didn't you?"

Mikasa looked up at Erwin who was waiting for her response. Mikasa rolled her eyes and nodded. "I'm only doing this for the money." She says, which is also true.

Erwin smirks, "Sounds like a deal." Mikasa glared at him, "So what do you want me to do?"

"Hm. How about let's start off slow. Go to his room every now and then. Maybe drop him off his food, etc. Easy?" Mikasa sighed, "Alright."

Mikasa arrived home from work. She opened the front door and walked in. That's where she saw Jean sitting on the couch, it seems he was waiting for her to get home.

He turned towards the front door and his face lit up. "Mikasa!" He stood up. She slammed the front door. Jean realized it was best to keep his distance for a while before she beats the hell out of him.

"H-How was work?" He asked, trying to start a small talk. Mikasa rolled her and removed her coat. She continued on going upstairs. Jean stopped her and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry." He said. Mikasa was going to push him away, but all her strength left her. "I promise I won't do that ever again." He said. "And if I do, I won't stop you if you want to beat the crap out of me." He chuckled.

Mikasa lightly chuckled at his joke and hugged back. "Idiot." She says, playfully.

When Mikasa calmed down, Jean told her what happened. Turns out his car stopped working when he was heading home from work. The car wouldn't turn on and he had to walk home. He was going to call her, but his phone was dead.

THE NEXT DAY...

Mikasa was woken up by Jean playfully hitting on the head with a pillow. "You're gonna be late." He says. Mikasa yawns and lifts herself and leans on the headboard.

"You are the one who's already late." She giggles. Jean's eyes widened, hoping she was joking. He looks at the time, he was already 30 minutes late.

"Damn!" He quickly gets dressed and goes into the bathroom. Mikasa watches him run around like crazy and later receives a message from Erwin.

She gets off of bed and opens the message. It was just a reminder of their deal they made. Mikasa sighs and throws her phone onto the bed.

Jean walked and saw her unhappy face. He approached her, "You okay?" He asks. She nods her in response, "Yeah."

He raised an eyebrow and sat down next to her. He moved her head to face him and kissed her on the lips. Suddenly all the frustration from work went away by a single kiss.

The kiss that started out simple went on and on. Sooner or later, Jean was above Mikasa, giving her hickeys on the side of her neck. Mikasa was trying to hold in her moans.

The moment was getting heated. However, their heated moment was interrupted by a phone call coming from Jean's phone.

Jean removed himself from Mikasa and answered. It was his boss. "Yeah I know! Sorry, I woke up late. I'll be on my way." He says and hangs up.

Mikasa frowned and fixed her hair. "You should really go to work." She says. "I know." He said. He stood up and grabbed his sweater from the closet.

He walked over to Mikasa and gave her a kiss before leaving.

"Good morning!" Petra greeted. Mikasa smiled and greeted back. "You look tired, did you sleep well?"

"I don't think I did."

"Getting at least 8 hours of sleep is enough to have enough energy for the day!" She says.

"Thanks for letting me know, Petra."

"No problem-" She stopped and her eyes widened. "What's wrong?" Mikasa asked. Petra quickly went over to her and covered her neck.

"You should really cover that, Mikasa!" She giggles. Mikasa didn't even realize Jean gave her hickeys. She also had a scarf, but it wasn't covering it up completely. Suddenly Mikasa felt embarrassed having Petra seeing that.

"Sorry." She apologizes and quickly covers her hickeys up.

"No worries!"

"Hey, Mikasa, the food is ready." The lunch lady said. Mikasa grabbed the first tray of food and headed off to her first patient.

She even visited Armin and spent some time with him. "I had a cool dream, Mikasa! We were all flying and having a good time! We even played some fun games!" He happily explained.

"You were there! My grandpa was there!" He said. Mikasa smiled warmly at him. Suddenly, Armin stopped and leaned closer to Mikasa.

"What's wrong, Armin?"

He leaned closer and pointed at her neck. "Who hurt you?" He referred to her hickey on her neck. Mikasa quickly covered it up with her scarf and made it tighter so the scarf won't fall down again. "Nobody did, Armin. I'm fine." She says.

"Are you sure?" He asked, concerned. She nods and grabs his hand, "Yes." She says. "Okay..." he says. "And also! I had a dog! I named it Jelly Bean!" He continued telling his dream.
