Kelso was uncomfortable, she doubted that she would sleep any at all that night. She was uncomfortable as she was in a strangers bed, in a strangers room, in a strangers house , in a strange dimension. She knew Adam only as far as a taxi driver gets to know his customers and vise versa. They were not close.

Sylvester opted for sitting in one of the old rocking chairs which was in the corner of the room. He looked rather eerie with his dark features in the shadows of the corner. Though he wanted to keep watch on the entire place. He was on guard and nobody could blame him. Addamak had left not too long ago , he reassured them he would be back soon, therefore Sylvester was to be in charge until he gets back.

"I hate this." Kelso sighed as she turned so she was laying on her back on the single bed. She fit almost perfectly on the bed though if she was much taller she would have to curl up in order to sleep on it. It wasn't a bad bet what so ever, nor was it an awful cabin, save for the bugs they occasionally found which had taken residence.

"You're going to need to be more specific." Sylvester made Kelso snap her head to the side. She wasn't expecting him to talk. He was usually someone who sat quiet and listened to what was going on around him. He wasn't one to have a conversation, though Kelso supposed she just didn't know him well enough yet. "I'm sure i dislike this for both similar and different reasons to you. Do you...wish to discuss it?"

Kelso felt emotional, she could see that Slvester was trying to have a civil conversation with her. It reminded her of the time before they knew Laylian and Tyrellw Were taken, when they were trying to get to know each other and spent some time together. "Well uh-" Kelso started awkwardly "I suppose it's just ...this is all odd."

Sylvester chuckled and sat forward, both his hands were clasped together in front of him "well that's understandable, if not relatable." He shot her a quick smile. "When we first came to the human dimension it was just as odd for us, I wasn't used to this dimension nevermind a dimension I had never been to before." There was a humourless chuckle "Though ...Dont' worry, i'll look out for you here just like Laylian would look out for Tyrell, you have helped us in the other dimension, we'll return the favour."

Kelso shook her head and waved her hands in front of her, she was now sitting on the bed and facing Sylvester. "Oh no! Really we did nothing..." Her foot trailed patterns on the floor subconsciously ."all we did was talk to you and become friends...in some cases closer than friends." A blush appeared on both of their cheeks. "I really appreciate it, i do feel kind of useless at the moment..."

Sylvester hummed slightly as a sign that he had heard her. That was something he didn't expect, well actually it was two things he didn't expect. He didn't expect Kelso to be so open with him, it was rather surprising as he figured she was the kind of person to bottle up her feelings and take a while to open up . He also was not expecting her to feel useless, Kelso may be human but she excelled in many things, things Sylvester could only dream of being good at.

"Kelso...i can't say i understand." Sylvester chuckled a little bit . "I have...quite the opposite , i do not ...like what I can do. I can control things, I can communicate with things others can't. I hate how powerful I am." He took in a deep breath and bit his lip "I could honestly take over the entire school if I wanted to, that scares me because. Well, I might do it. The possibility is always there."

Kelso was looking intensely at Sylvester, she was not too surprised. Sylvester was one of the kindest and most lovable people she had ever met, the stories she was told about the dark fae just didn't line up with his personality. She could see him having the power, she had seen him use it, though it's only ever been used for good, as far as she is aware.

"what I mean is-" The awkwardness which ran off Sylvester in waves was something they welcomed, it somehow made it less tense. "It doesn't matter if you have powers or abilities or not. It doesn't matter what you can do and what you can't do. Even if it did you are much superior to me and Addamak at many different things." Sylvester started to ramble. "Kelso you're amazing, you show that everyday. You're in an entirely new dimension trying to save or rescue Laylian and Tyrell. That in itself is incredibly brave of you. "

The words almost made Kelso tear up, all the stress and emotions and the actual realization that her and her brother were in a different dimension was settling in. Kelso sniffed back a few tears as she turned again so that she was lying on her back . Sylvester had stood up and moved to the other side of the room, there was a window which was looking less than secure. Sylvester was able to see out of it but there was cobwebs and dust clouding the view.

"I can't say I missed this place." He attempted to change the subject, seeing the darkness which lay like a blanket over the trees. "Come here." He gestured for her to stand next to him as eh spoke softly. Kelso rose from the bed but she didn't have far to travel, there was about a foot or two between the bed and the window.

Kelso walked to Sylvester's left so that he was between her and the wall, they both looked out of the window. Sylvester cleaned off some cobwebs and they looked at the darkness. The shadows from the trees stood out only a little bit as what illuminated the outside world was the stars in the sky, along with a few candles that were reflected in the window. "The fae liked the human dimension. So much so they used a lot of the same...well they used the human dimension as a model of sorts."

It took Kelso a moment but She could recognize all the constellations in the sky , the sky was bright and clear. And the stars were so bright. It was almost like seeing white on black, the stars shone so bright and it was so easy to see the different patterns. "The humans did many amazing things, like the stories of the sky. They made their own light. "
