Chapter 57

Eula's POV

I'm cooking breakfast right now, tulog pa yung mag ama, "paki chop nalang yung Ibang vegetables" I told manang.. I don't have work today, well not at this hour, I will have my monthly meeting with the branch in laguna, since no one is giving me updates on how things are going there, ako na mismo ang pupunta, I'm very hands on with work "aayy wait, akin na nga yung carrots" I told  manang who was helping me. I'm making sure na the carrots are bite size, hindi ito kakainin ni Amira kapag hindi bite size.

"o, andito ka pala" I heard Albert's voice, I gave him a glance, "it's for later, minsan lang kase tayo mabuo eh" I told him.. "mukhang espesyal yata eto" he added.

Aba, alangaman hindi.

"Cara Mia, you clearly know you don't have to do this, we have caterer" he said. "Alam ko, pero I already explained it kanina diba?" I told him.. He pressed his head on mine. "Intayin kita" he said.. "ano ba yan niluluto mo?" he asked which made me laugh.

Hindi mahilig mag luto si Albert, at hindi rin siya magaling mag luto HAHA.

"chopsuy" I told him while he was cuddling me from behind, "chopsuy,  what else?"

I feeded him a bite sized carrot.. "sarap?" I asked him.. "masarap" he laughed.

Amira's POV
Papunta ako downstairs, and when I checked the kitchen, and indeed  wrong timing, very wrong timing.. Can't they see me here? Daddy is hugging mommy, and they are  laughing like two birds in a tree branch.  Uhm, go back nalang ako sa room.. Yuck. I wish I could unsee what I saw, nag burn ang eyes ko. It's really burning!

I came back after 20 min. and surfed through the long stairs passed the living room and finally arrived at the eating table.. Atleast now, we are gonna kain and no monkey business involved..

"mommy, gusto ko ng pancakes" I told mommy, there's chopsuy and chow mein on the table..

Mommy looked at me seriously.. Hindi ako takot dyan mommy mwehehe. HAHA.

"enough with continental food, anak" she said..

Aalis nanaman si mommy today I think. Pero only for 1 week, or maybe less.. The 2 of them act like 'mag jowa' tignan mo nga what they are doing right now.... Do you know those mag jowa in a restaurant that would feed each other dessert?? That's the scene I'm looking at right now..

Wala na akong energy for dessert. I tried catching their attention that I'm actually In front of them.. Pero wala eh..

"uhm, mommy, daddy please excuse me" I told them and stood up from my chair.. "saan ka pupunta?" daddy asked.

Nag ask pa talaga.. "I uhm.. mag prepare for school" I made an excuse..

Whew!

Albert's POV

Amira said she's gonna prepare for school, today is Saturday.

Aalis si eula for 1 week to go to the laguna branch ng kumpanya, one thing I like about her in terms of business is her major hands on to certain thing.. " sweatheart, may ipapakita  ako sayo" she said all of a sudden.

Oh, this looks serious.

I sighed.. "what is it?" I asked.. She didn't say anything, she showed me a paper, a certificate?

She didn't say anything, binabasa ko at... Certificate of sale ng Clavier Estate Builders??

"what is this?" I asked her.. "I want to... I want to just focus on you and Amira, I know the past few years, I've been very busy with work--" I cut her off.

Wow, I'm shocked by this, Alam ko kung gaano ka Mahal ni Eula ang kumpanya and seeing this certificate is... Wow.

"You don't have to do this, okay? Alam ko kung gaano mo kanahal ang trabaho mo" I uttered. She just smiled.. "mas mahal kita eh"

"kayo ni Amira" she continued. and I'm willing to give up just this small thing" she said.

"Cara Mia, we've been busy our whole life, and I understand that, Amira understands that, you don't have to give up something like this for you to make it up to Amira or me, and we both know that we're doing this para sa anak ko, nating dalawa.. And para din ito Kay Amira" I stood up and kissed her forehead.

"at Alam ko din you wouldn't last a day not going to the office" I said and we both laughed.

CEB is part of the legacy and it's a complete must to continue it no matter what, it has been passed on to generations at pinaghirap yun.

Eula's POV
I'm preparing my things and..... I'm done, "aalis ka na?" albert asked.. "yes" I said.

"hatid na kita" he said and grabbed his car keys..

"it's 9:56 in the morning, office hours, wag na" I said as I grabbed my bag.. "are you sure?" he clarified.

Luh HAHA parang mag jowa pa rin? Inaasure pa talaga? HAHAH.

"yes, I'm sure, sige na bye na" I said I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek.. "yun lang??" he emphasized.

Ano ba nangyari neto? Ang arte, ano? Gf pa rin? HAHA.

"ang arte mo, noh? Sige na nga, bye darling, I love you" I exclaimed while I gave him a peck on the lips
"ang arte mo" I mouthed.

"call me every now and then" he said.. "yes sir, noted po sir" I said..

"hasta luego mi amor" he stated  while I was about to open the door.

"adios, mi querido esposo" I said, he then winked.

I went to Amira's room to kiss her goodbye, "kiss mommy" she gladly obliged.. "bye po mommy, I'll miss you" she said sweetly. "buh-bye, mwah!"

I left home, and went on the road, "ako na mag drive, akin yung car keys" I told the driver... Parang ayaw neto Ibigay ah. "Ma'am, hindi po Yan ang bili ni sir, Sabi niya po, wag daw po kayong iiwan at sisiguraduhing safe kayo" He explained.

Masyadong arte ito sa albert eh, pero nakakakilig minsan but still.

"fine" I said and went in the car.. Hoy Albert marunong ako mag drive on my own okay? Wag masyadong arte.

When I arrived at the branch, it seemed like everything is fine here, I assure that. "tell the CFO, to give me reports, naalala mo yung time na they didn't even check balance sheets na galit na galit ako? I don't want that to happen again" I told her. Wala namang nag babago dito eh, same old same old..

After our meeting, I went to a coffee shop to get coffee, but I bumped into someone.. "what th--" I was cut short because I was shocked.. "Armando?" I said still shocked..

"euls!" he exclaimed.

Armando Villaforte , he was.. He was my suitor before in uhm, in high school I think, pero, dahil Kay Eduardo nga, tinangihan ko siya, pero that doesn't change how ravishing he is until now..

"euls, ikaw ba Yan? Kumusta?" he aksed enthusiastically. "of-ofcoarse ako to, ano ka ba?" I said and laughed.

"how's life?" he asked..

Ano daw?

"Alam mo, mas mabuti pa, let's sit down and catch up for awhile" he suggested.. Mukhang tatagalan ako dito ah.. Nag tatagal nga we decided to have lunch, luckily, resto din tong coffee shop na to..

He hasn't change through the years, he's still that good looking head turner..

After that lunch we had, I was on my way to the place I'll stay, when.. Alice called?

"ano?" I said as I picked up the phone.

"meet me in microtel and bring a dress, as in right now" she said. "wh--" I didn't have the time to ask, binabaan ako ng lintik..

Ano daw? Dress? For what.
