A New Family

Wedding

The big day had arrived
The McLenehan brothers were marrying the Kingsley sisters
The brothers arrived at the church and could not wait for their beautiful brides to arrive
They saw Daniela over in the pews
"We'll look after your daughters Mrs Kingsley" they told her
"I know you will" she replied
The church was packed when finally Michael arrived with the blushing brides
Samantha and Annabelle both wore a strapless white dress and white high heel sandals
And had their hair down around her shoulders
Both women looked absolutely beautiful as they walked arm in arm with Michael

Out of the corner of her eye Annabelle could see the spirit of her mother all beautifully dressed
She knew then her mother was there

The ceremony then began
It came to the part that each couple had waited for
They began with Jono and Samantha,
"Do you Jonathan take Samantha to be your lawful wedded wife ?"
"I do "said Jono
"Do you Samantha take Jonathan to be your lawful wedded husband?"
"I do" said Samantha

They then started with Steve and Annabelle
"Do you Steven take Annabelle to be your lawful wedded wife ?"
"I do" said Steve
"Do you Annabelle take Steven to be your lawful wedded husband"
"I do" said Annabelle

Then the moment came
"By the power vested in me I now declare you husband and wife" the priest said to both couples
"You May kiss the bride"
Both brothers kissed their beautiful wives
to thunderous applause
The then went to sign the register
When the return the minister announced "ladies and gentleman ,Mr and Mrs McLenehan"
You could not open the smiles off both couples faces

They went to the receptions which was where they had their first dances as a couple and were welcomed into The McLenehan family ,
Of course tears were shed when Annabelle paid tribute to the Kingsley family and her real mother

Both sisters tearfully hugged each other at the reception

After the reception both couples went back to a five star hotel before they flew out for their honeymoons
Steve and Annabelle flew to Hawaii for their Honeymoon
Jono and Samantha flew to Fiji for theirs

Annabelle had come a long way since that first day at school all those years ago
She was now a top lawyer and was married to the man of her dreams
There was no turning back but she never forgot her real mother and never would
She knew she was there at her wedding but wished she could embrace her one last time
But she wouldn't trade her life for anything now
