My Long Lost Love.

Chapter#7: Finally!

Ana and Belle reached Jeremy's house, where the wedding was to take place, an hour before the ceremony started. They went upstairs to the room where Sophia was getting ready, to meet her and then went in the lawn where other guests were present.

Ash came with them too but they lost him as soon as they reached inside. Probably attacking on the snacks present there. Already!

Ana was looking at the two girls who were dressed in the same clothes and was smiling, remembering her and Belle's childhood, "Ana?"

Ana turned around and to her amazement she found Ethan, whom she never expected to see again, "Ethan Martinez."

"It's good to see you after a long time, Ana", Ethan continued but his gaze seemed to be looking for someone else.

Belle went towards the rest room. She'll  be back in a minute, Ana answered the unasked question.

Ethan just blushed and scratched his neck while he was at it, "Umm...can I ask you something?"

"Uh...ok", Ana knew exactly what his question was going to be.

"Does Belle.....um, you know...does she still love me?", Ethan asked.

"I honestly don't know. We never looked back at our pasts", Ana lied.

"Ofcourse", Ethan pressed his lips. "I do, however, have a complain regarding to you."

"What is that?", Ana asked.

"You broke your promise the day you made it", Ethan said.

Ana just gave him a nervous laugh, "I-just didn't have the idea that......the elders had a plan to move to Columbia."

"It's okay. I'm over it. It's been six years after all", Ethan said.

Ana had started feeling awkward so she just excused herself and went to the other side to stand there.

Ethan noticed if and felt bad for making her feel ashamed and knew she wouldn't like it if he went to talk to her again, even if it was just for apologising.  So, he told Jeremy to cheer her up.

Jeremy walked up to Ana, "Ana! Looks like you're not enjoying yourself here."

"No. I'm fine", Ana conjured up a smile.

"Why are you standing all alone then? I've been noticing you. It's been what? 15 minutes?", Jeremy asked.

"Oh I just....uh....was waiting for Belle", Ana said.

"Waiter!", Jeremy called a waiter who was passing by, carrying a plate of chocolates.

Jeremy took the plate from him, dismissed him and then turned to Ana, "You love chocolates, don't you? Please, help yourself."

"Yes, I do. Thank you. Sophia must have mentioned it", Ana said, taking the caramel one.

"No. Alexander did", Jeremy said.

Ana paused.

Alexander?

Jeremy placed the plate on the table, in front of Ana, "Well, I should get going. It was nice meeting you."

Ana felt like she was going to have a panic attack.

Ofcourse Alexander was going to be there. He is Jeremy's best friend. She should've seen that one coming.

She rushed towards the restroom.

"Belle! I want to go home", Ana said as soon as she entered inside.

"Already. We've only been here for an hour and the ceremony hasn't even started yet!", Belle exclaimed.

"Belle, I'm not feeling well. I'm sure Sophia will understand", Ana said.

"You're not feeling well. What happened?", Belle inquired.

"Japan", Ana made the first excuse that came in her mind.

"Oh my God! Turn around", Belle turned her around. "You're clear. Fine. I'll talk to Sophia. You go home."

"Is it okay with you if I take the driver? I'll send him back once I get home", Ana asked.

"Yea take him", Belle said.

"Make an excuse if Ash asks", Ana reminded.

"Ofcourse silly! Now go!", Belle pushed her out.

Ana was making her way out when she saw Alexander. He was hugging Jeremy.  Then, while talking to him he started looking around just like Ethan was doing it to find Belle a while ago.

Ana didn't care whom he was looking for but got out of there, hiding from his sight nonetheless.

She sighed after getting inside the car, thanking God for helping her.

But maybe God was in Alexander's team.

"Hey Belle", Ethan mustered up alot of courage to approach Belle after he finally saw her.

Belle turned around, knowing who it was but not expecting that kind of surprise. Sophia would have to pay for it.

"Hi....Ethan", Belle greeted him nervously.

"Long time", Ethan commented.

"Yeah", Belle said.

"Six years is alot, Belle", Ethan asked her whole looking at her intensely.

"It is, indeed. How are you?", Belle asked.

Ethan chuckled, "Same as you left me. Lonely because my love left me and broken because the same one broke my heart."

'Well that was cheesy', Belle thought.

"I hope I'm not interrupting", Alexander joined them but was looking around them, hoping to find Ana somewhere near.

Belle had now figured out why Ana ran away from there, "Alexander, hi."

Xander looked at Belle, "Where's Ana?" And his eyes started searching for her again.

"She wasn't well. So, she went home", Belle answered.

Xander's face fell. He turned around and started pacing in Jeremy's direction.

"What happened to him?", Belle asked.

Ethan sighed, "You have no idea".
