Chapter III

Dance with me

Y/n's pov

Jasper and I were regularly spending time with each other, almost every minute of the whole day.I loved being with him.The meadow around us seemed to glow in beauty, despite being already beautiful, everytime Jasper makes my heart flutter.Today,he had brought a radio with him, saying he wanted to dance with me.I was still a little rusty when it came to dancing,so I felt content that a gentleman,is teaching me how to dance.I loved being wrapped in his embrace,it made me feel safe in every way possible.After reaching to the middle of the meadow,he put the radio aside,and took me in his arms, guiding my posture, for perfecting the dance.His right hand on the small of my back and his left hand holding my right hand in the gentlest way possible.I would recognise that song anywhere,it was the song we danced to,on my birthday.He gazed into my eyes, with adoration.I couldn't help but smile into his eyes,a blush creeping its way upto my cheeks."I love you,y/n... with all my being"he said, kissing my forehead."I love you, Jasper.."I whispered, only so that he could hear it.We were still swaying to the slow and peaceful tune of the music.It was as if we had all the time in the world,and we were the only ones in it.Laying my head on his chest,we swayed to the music, before we lost track of time.We danced together the whole afternoon.We went to home, walking into my room,when I noticed my violin near the cabinet."Oh,I forgot about this.."I said,gesturing to the violin sitting in its box.I sat on my bed as I took it in my hands and opened it, taking the instrument in my hands,I place it onto my shoulder and try to play,as I used to.I didn't seem to succeed at my first attempt.I tried to concentrate and play a tune I always used to,and without fail,got it the second time.I noticed Jasper observing me play it.He applauded me,"Whoaa..."he said, clearly surprised.

"That was incredible...!"he said, walking towards me and lifting me into his arms,as if I were weightless.I giggled as his touch seemed to tickle me."Ha..Ha-Jasper!-Put me down"I tried to say, between my uncontrollable giggling.He didn't stop.He laid me on the bed, tickling my sides,my eyes were filled with tears, from giggling.I tried to swat his hands away,but he was too fast,"Ahh-stop,stop,stop!"I shouted.I was out of breath from all that tickling and he stopped tickling me.We were suddenly aware of how close our bodies were.We looked at each other for a moment before his lips collided with mine.He was hovering over me, trying not to fall upon.One of my hands, grasping at the nape of his neck and the other on his chest between the little distance of us.The air is filled with passion,kisses getting deeper.One of his hands was  around my waist and the other holding himself up on the bed, trying not to crush me.His kisses trailing an urgent path down to my neck.I couldn't help but let out a moan.He abruptly stops,his eyes filled with worry."What.."I wondered in a low voice."Y/n, I'm sorry but we can't do that...".I was taken aback by his sudden answer,"But,why..?"I ask, completely confused.He approaches me both of his cold hands on my cheeks,"I can't hurt you,if I did,I couldn't ever live with the fact that.."he said, not wanting to continue."Hey-Hey-Hey now,look at me, you could never hurt me,I am sure of it, you know why.. because I know that you love me... and I love you more than words can ever express.."I said holding him close to me."I'll wait for the day, you're ready...no rush"I said to him, about our recent activity.
After a few minutes,we cuddle up on the bed, talking to each other about whatever topic we could find."I've got an idea..."he said abruptly."Idea?"I asked."Why don't we play baseball? Together?"he asked, squeezing my hand."Wait, you wanna play with the pack? That'd be great!"I exclaimed."How about tomorrow morning?"he asked, regarding the timing of the baseball game."Okay, I'll inform the pack."I said, awaiting tomorrow's game.
I didn't even notice the time flowing by today.Whenever I spent time with him,it felt like hours were mere seconds flowing by.He kissed me goodnight and left, teasing that he wanted to prepare for the match tomorrow.I rolled my eyes and ran downstairs and out of my home to find the pack at their usual spot."Hey,girl!"Embry yelled,more like announcing my arrival to the whole pack."Hi, Embry and everyone.."I said. "Aren't you hanging out with your boyfriend?"Paul teased.I just sighed and rolled my eyes with a smirk."So,how have things been with everyone?"I ask."Well, Jacob met a girl named Bella.."Jared said, smacking his hand on Jacob's shoulder."And..?"I said, telling him to continue."She's my imprint.. happy?"he said,like he didn't want to talk about it, but his smile said otherwise."Congratulations!!Please, Bring her sometime Jacob."I said wanting to meet the new girl."Alright, alright"he said,still beaming."Look at him, grinning like a two year old child,who found his favourite toy!"Leah said, visibly teasing him."Leave him be,Leah!Let him bask in his own light of happiness.."I said chuckling lightly."So,how about a game of baseball..."I said, the place was quiet,as if eager to finish me sentence,"With the Cullens?"I asked.
"Yes, let's do it!"Quil said excitedly,followed by a few others."Are you sure,we should be playing with them?"Leah asked."Leah,I thought you didn't back away from a challenge."I said and she replied,"Alright we'll go.."."Then,tomorrow morning it is.."I said.Hoping that our baseball skills from childhood still appeared tomorrow...
