Chapter 12

Dev and Sona enjoyed their honeymoon, they made sure to explore Maldives and also explore each other... Atlast it was the end of  their honeymoon and they flew back to Mumbai and the family welcomed them back.
Ofcourse as Dev's dad planned New Years Party, which was planned long back even before they knew something major would take place so his dad felt this  will be the best time to introduce Sona to friends and family as their daughter in law and also announce their wedding reception which will take place after Sona come back from America.
Dev's mom came to Sona and gave her. Manish Malhotra Saree, a dark blue chiffon which was hand embroidered, metallic sequence and crystal embroidery with a beautiful sleeveless blouse which went perfect for an Indo Western look.
D:: Maa you got clothes for Sona and what about me? Everyone's giving Sona gifts and nothing for me? Are you forgetting I also got married and if I didn't bring the bride then you all wouldn't even have a daughter in law
Maa:: oh God!! When are you going to grow up Dev? You are such a jealous kid.
D:: what do you mean? That's not fair Maa
Maa:: okay okay, don't worry we got your Armani suit color coordinated with Sona
D:: wow this is awesome, I love the color
Maa:: now happy?
S:: thank you Maa this is gorgeous
Maa:: okay I know you both are tired after the flight get some rest coz the party doesn't start until 9pm and Sona just try out the blouse to make sure it fits well.
S:: yes Maa I'll do that
Dev's mom leaves and Sona gets all excited to try out this gorgeous Saree, she sprints to try out this sexy shiny blouse which fit her perfectly and wraps the saree roughly to see how she looks. Dev was sleepy and tired but when Sona came in front of him, his eyes popped out. His mouth was open and he was speechless
S:: Dev, look at this how beautiful..... Dev!!
D:: yea beautiful.........
S:: wow Maa has such good taste, and the blouse fits perfect. I'm already so excited. Look at you clothes they match perfectly with mine
Dev couldn't hear anything as he was mesmerized, he was lost in her beauty. He just walked up to her as she was busy appreciating the hand embroidery done in front of the mirror. He stood right behind her and she looked up and saw him behind him in the mirror. Yes his eyes had the lust, his lips were parted screaming for some love. He put his hand on her bare shoulder where there was only a thin strap of the blouse, he glided his fingers by the hem of the blouse all the way to her back and unhooked the blouse. So stood still almost not able to breathe still holding the Saree but Dev wasn't going to stop there, very gently he placed an open mouthed kiss on her shoulder and she just let go off the saree.
He turned her around and gently pulled her blouse off. She tried to cover herself with her hands but Dev was too quick to let her hide anything he took her in a hug and placed kisses on her neck and her shoulder and slowly slowly Sona gave in to his demand and they were lost in the world of love.
After their love session they laid down trying to rest
D:: Sona after you wear your saree tonight properly you will look extra sexy then what am I going to do?
S:: hmmmm.... Just do what your heart says
D:: are you sure ?
S:: Dev stop it!!!
D:: promise me you will continue this later tonight
S:: no I won't
Dev looked at her giving her a grin and said nothing, hugged and closed his eyes
S:: so you are okay if I say no
D:: you won't even get a chance to say no
S:: what makes you think that?
D:: do you think you can stay away from your loving husband?
S:: you know my weakness don't you?
D:: no I know your love.
Later that evening Sona and Dev were introduced to everyone as Husband and wife. They both were looking so beautiful so perfect that you can say match made in heaven. The best part for them was there was Nikki and some other people who bullied Dev and Sona when they were young. Ofcourse some how they were from the group of friends and business associates that they were invited.
New Year started with laughter, music friends and family. The party ended very late and by the time they went to sleep was almost 4am. They both were so tired after dancing non stop they both just wanted to sleep. Around 10:30 Dev woke up Sona will be here only another one and half day and she is leaving for America. He just felt so sad that he felt angry, now he doesn't want to let Sona go but he knows that won't be fair, Sona worked hard and she trusted him. Without waking her up he just got out of bed and went to freshen up. When he came out of the bathroom Sona woke up and saw Dev was brushing his hair in front of the mirror, she came behind him and hugged him
S:: good morning baby and happy new year
D:: good morning
S:: you okay sweetie?
D:: yea I'm fine just lil tired
S:: then why did you wake up so early
D:: just couldn't sleep
S:: then why didn't you wake me up
D:: didn't want to disturb you
S:: baby what's wrong?
D:: just told you nothing I'm tired, why don't you freshen up and we can have breakfast
It was lil weird but Sona just couldn't understand what happened why is he acting like this but she let it go. They came out to have breakfast and the house was already full of people everyone wanted to talk to Sona everyone wanted her to be with them and later on her family came over too. Everything just made Dev more irritated, he wanted to be with Sona but then everytime she came to him he was avoiding her, she felt really bad thinking that she will be leaving in a day and he is being so rude. But later in the evening as everyone was sitting and they one of them said Sona will be leaving day after tomorrow and the house will be so quiet and Dev just quickly wiped his cheek as few drops of tears just escaped his eyes and Sona noticed that and she knew he is sad. After Dinner Dev's mom let the kids go as she felt they needed some time together and also they must be tired. Dev and Sona came to the room and he was still avoiding her, he changed into his pajama and turned the TV on, seeing that Sona felt she should just go get changed because the pacifying will take time so she better be ready. When she came out she sat next to him but he didn't move or say anything, Sona just felt it's better she talks to him
S:: Dev I'm going to miss you
Dev kept quiet
S:: are you angry with me?
D:: why would I be angry?
S:: because I have to go
D:: I knew you have to go then why would I be angry?
S:: then what's wrong sweetie? Why are you avoiding me?
D:: I'm not avoiding you
Sona just stood in front of him and cradled his head on her chest kissing his head few times
S::. It's okay to be upset as we just got married trust me I'm feeling so guilty and I don't even know how am I going to manage the next five months but I just know I have you in my heart who will never let me be alone
After sometime Dev wrapped his arms around her waist and he cried. Sone knew he was upset he was just sad that she is leaving.
D:: don't love me so much that it gets difficult to let go. Why do I have to go through all this to make you mine why can't I have it easily?
S:: so t say like that now I feel more guilty
D:: Sona of I ask for something will you give it to me?
S:: Dev you can come to America and stay with me to give me strength
D:: how did you know I was going to ask you this?
S:: because I know you
D:: Sona I'm going to miss you and I'm sorry I've been very rude to you today Coz I want you so badly with me.
S:: I'm sorry
D:: don't be sorry it's not your fault
S:: why are you so good Dev?
D:: I'm not good, look at me I was angry whole day and wasted the day
S:: it's okay, I guess we both have flaws and that's what makes us complete
D:: but I want you to complete yourself you shouldn't need me to complete you, but yes I would want to be the inspiration for you to want to complete yourself
S:: how do you think of such things Dev? You have no clue what you do to me. If I'm here standing in front of you because of the confidence you have on me.
Dev tightly held her by her waist burying his face in her chest as he does not want her to see his tears, Sona cupped his face as he was trying to hide his tears eyes from her.
S:: Dev please baby don't do this, it kills me to see you like this
D:: Don't say that please, I'll die before anything happens to you
S:: why are we talking about death now? We just started our new life right?
D:: right!! But Sona if I die then promise me you will make sure you do everything that I want you to do. You will never give up, you will be independent and happy
S:: what makes you think I'll let you die? You can't get rid of me.
D:: really? What you going to do?
S:: I'll fight with God I'll fight with death. We still have to make our own cricket team I have too many plans and you need to stop being filmy and asking me stupid questions
D:: but it's not stupid
S:: Dev!!! Now I'm going to hit you
D:: okay sorry sorry!!
S:: don't ever say such things okay?
D:: I promise I won't coz I don't want God to get yelled by my wife
S:: that's right...
D:: but can we talk about something else now?
S:: what?
D:: you just said we have to make a cricket team, so can we work on that now?
S:: seriously Dev? No matter how you are feeling you always come back to this topic
D:: so what's wrong with it? I think about my wife and the ways I wanna make love to her and why not she is so beautiful. You can't blame me for that.

Sona started blushing and Dev pulled her to the bed and in no time he was on top of her.
D:: aint you going to give me anything to remember you next five months?
S:: I'm all yours you can take anything from me

That night Dev and Sonakshi travelled to an euphoric world where they thought of nothing but just love only pure love.
Next day flew in a blink of an eye and soon Sona went back to America. This time everything was different and everything was balanced from both sides. Sona was actually more focused than before and she is happy and Dev gifted himself a birthday gift which was a two weeks trips to America for his own Birthday. The couple enjoyed their time in New York and time passed and Sona successfully finished her course and came back to India.
As it was announced that they will have a grand wedding reception which they did. It was the talk of the town and DevAkshi looked heavenly.
Everything was falling in its place they both got busy too, Sona was working on her brand and Dev was working on his hotel project, but they made sure they gave each other enough time and enjoyed a blissful married life.
Last few days Dev has been very busy and he has been coming hone late too but Sona wasn't complaining because she knew how important this project was for Dev. He was going to the site almost everyday to make sure everything was done right as he was very particular about everything after all they were making a 5 star hotel so it had to be perfect.
Today was no different Dev was late again
Dev's dad:: Sona Beta call Dev. He has been coming late everyday. Check when is he coming?
S:: yes baba
Sona calls Dev
D:: hello!! Hey Baby sorry I'm getting late, I'll be leaving in few minutes
S:: what are you doing now? Where are you? I can't hear you
D:: Sona I'm in the 8th floor just checking the work. Hold on let me go to the balcony
Suddenly there was a big sound
S:: Devvvvvvvvvv!!!! Devvvvvvvvvv!!!!

Hello friends, hope you will enjoy the chapter and not kill me for the cliffhanger. We will have one more chapter and this story will come to an end.
