"So is it true?" Alexandra asked, Harry froze at his spot, he didn't know what to say, he looked at Matt who looked so guilty "it's true... but it..." Harry started to say but cut off by screaming "oh my god" Alexandra screamed "Alex stop it... it's not like that..." Matt said and got up to stand next to Harry "come baby, let's sit down..." Matt encourage him to move, Harry finally did, and they walked to their chairs and sat down "what do you mean?" Alexandra kept asking but Matt ignored her, he stroke Harry's hand trying to calm him down "baby we don't have a stay... we can go..." Matt said in a loving voice, Harry saw how much he's trying, he didn't expect that the subject will come up tonight "wait... did you say no?" Major asked and Matt looked at him with a deadly look "leave the subject alone, this is our business..." Matt said and Harry looked at him "I'm sorry..." Harry said "don't be..." Matt answered and kissed his hand, everyone was so quite, nobody moved or speak "so.. umm.. what do you plan to do in Paris?" Tom asked, Harry hesitate at first but then he took a deep breath "I never been there, but it was my dream since... well ever" Harry answered and smiled, he tried to lighten the mood "you must go to the Louvre it's amazing!" Daniel said "yes of course, I want to go to the Eiffel Tower too" Harry continued, the talk about their up coming vacation made him so happy so he forgot about earlier "I can't wait to be on the plane" Harry said with an exciting voice, he looked at Matt who smiled widely at him, he felt Matt's arm warping him again and he leaned back on him "can I be rude and ask you about glee?" suddenly Sofia changed the subject, Harry laughed and nodded.
The rest of the night went well, everyone laughed and talked to each other, at some point Harry went to sit next to Sofia and Sarah, since they had so many questions, but Harry didn't mind, he find it charming they want to know him and his work, he looked at the kitchen and saw Matt standing there with his sister, he didn't hear what they were saying but it looked like he's angry "do you think I should go and save her? Matt looks pretty upset and I don't want them to fight.." Harry whispered to Major who smiled "Matt and Alex have a close relationship, I wouldn't be worried" Major said and smiled "I'm glad, I'm afraid she's giving him hell for the whole proposal thing..." Harry said and immediately regret that, because now he brought the subject back up "so what's up with that?" Tom asked with a grin "you brought it up... you must pay the price" Major chuckle at him, at first Harry thought how stupid he was to bring it up, but he felt how quickly they embraced him as part of the group, and made jokes together "it wasn't a real proposal..." Harry said "what do you mean?" Sofia asked "well... he said marry me... after umm..." Harry whispered and blushed "ohhh" everyone said together "so you did say no" Tom asked him but Harry shook his head "I didn't say anything, he surprised me... but we decided to not count that, it was a mistake and we've moved on" Harry said and smiled, he really didn't care about it, he's just happy to be with Matt "so you don't want to marry him?" Major suddenly asked "of course I do, it just wasn't the time... we deserve a beautiful story..." Harry said and looked at Matt, who still talked with his sister in the kitchen "it doesn't matter when it will happen, I'm lucky to have him in my life... that is enough for me, he's my forever someone... with or without a ring" Harry continued, not taking his eyes off Matt, he knew in his heart he will marry that man someday, it doesn't matter when, because from the day he met him he loved him, with all his heart "awww" Sofia and Sarah said together and hugged him from both sides, Harry was surprised at first, he was deep in his thoughts, but then he giggled and hugged both of them back "hey hey, hands off" Matt yelled form the kitchen with a fake anger "look baby, I'm in a cute sandwich" Harry cheered and hugged the girls closer, everyone laughed, Matt said something to his sister and then walked towards him "make some room for me" Matt said and sat down on the couch next to Harry, but then he picked him up and put him on his lap, Harry opened wide eyes "baby... I don't think..." Harry started to say but Alexandra cut him off "please... at least he finally brought someone, I don't mind" she winked at him, Matt grin at him, Harry blushed, he never done anything like that "so am I really the first one you brought?" Harry asked, and warped his hands around Matt's neck 'if you can't fight them...' Harry thought "yes" Matt smiled at him "aww I'm flattered" Harry smiled back "can I ask you something?" Alexandra asked "of course" Harry answered "about that girl in the article..." Alexandra started to say but Matt turned his head so fast and looked at her "baby I don't mind, yes we were involve, she contacted me when she came back to the states, I turned her down..." Harry said and looked at Matt "and she went to that reporters and told them lies about me and Matt's relationship" Harry continued, he knows why she's asking that, she loves her brother, it's fine to protect him, Harry is doing the same thing "I hope it answers your question?" Harry said and looked at Alexandra "yes.. I just wondered... maybe you turned my brother down because..." Alexandra started to say but stopped herself "honey, he turned him down because he proposed to him in bed, not because he was cheating on him" Major said and Alexandra raised her eyebrows in surprise "is that true?" she asked, Matt looked at Harry and narrow his eyes "you told them?" Matt asked and grin, letting Harry know he's not really upset "they cornered me!" Harry said in defense "so yeah, it's true, this is why it doesn't count" Matt said and looked at Alexandra "oh... Harry I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." Alexandra started to say but Harry waved his hand in the air "it's fine, don't worry about it" Harry said with a wide smile, she got up and hold his hand to rise him up and hugged him "I'm truly sorry, he didn't wanted to tell me what's wrong so I assume the worst, i'm sorry" she whispered to him, Harry hugged her close, he really didn't care about it "you really don't need to... you did what every good sister would do" he broke the hug and looked at her with a big smile "thank you, and I'm really am happy to see you both together, I never saw my brother so happy" she said and sat back down, Harry was about to sit on the couch but Matt flipped him to sit on his lap again, Harry fake a frown, but he actually liked it "thank you, you know... for accepting him, and us" Harry said to her "of course I will, his happiness is all that matter, and if it's with you so be it" she smiled at him, and Harry smiled back, he felt Matt's hands holding him close, he looked at him and saw so much love.
The rest of the night was really fun, they played games and drank a lot of beers and cocktails, so Harry and Matt called a cub to take them home, at the goodbye ritual everyone hugged them both, Harry felt so welcome and how much they love Matt and wanting him to be happy, Harry loved that about them, when they were on the door it was Alexandra turn to hug him, and they hugged tight "thank you for loving my brother" she whispered in his ear "I will give him everything he deserves, I promise" he hugged her close, when she broke the hug she gave him one last look with a wide smile and then went to give Matt a close hug too, Harry looked at them and melted, he was happy to know that Matt has at least one good person in his family "keep an eye on him, I like him" she said to Matt and winked at Harry "I will keep him close" Matt said and after another goodbye's they left the apartment.
