Chapter 110: X-mas Special! Pt.1

(This takes place when Hana is 19)

The trees swayed lightly in the cold winter breeze, as light snow covered the hidden leafs streets.

People made their ways through the streets, holding boxes as everyone prepared for Christmas.

A slightly tall girl walked down the street, her long red hair swaying as she carried a large box.

"Oi!! Hana!!" An excited voice called, as Hana looked around the large box in her hands with confusion.

Suddenly a blonde came skidding to a stop in front of her, as they laughed excitedly.

"Naruto? Oh! Hi!" Hana laughed as Naruto grabbed the box from her.

"Here, Let me help!" Naruto laughed as Hana smiled.

She awed at Naruto's buzz cut hair. "Are you just helping me so you have a place on the nice list?"

Naruto froze, as he sweat dropped slightly, walking away as he chuckled nervously. "N-no!! Of course not! Why- I mean I-"

"Of course he is." A lazy voice sounded, cutting Naruto off.

Hana smiled widely as she pushed past Naruto. "Hey Shika!! Merry Christmas!" Hana giggled as Shikamaru smirked slightly.

"So Hana, how are you and-" Shikamaru was cut off as Hana slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Be quiet you pineapple head!!" Hana yelled as Naruto just stared in confusion, still holding Hana's box.

Hana's face was a bright red, as Shikamaru and Naruto's eyes slowly wandered to something on Hana's hand.

Her hand was pressed against Shikamaru's face, but clearly, her left hand held a small silver ring.

With a stone.

A ring.

Their eyes widened as Hana removed her hand, pulling a strand of hair behind her ear as she looked around, not noticing their stares.

"So, are you two going to Kakashi sensei's Christmas party?" Hana questioned as she stared at the glittering snow that covered the ground.

Both boys eyes twitched, as they exchanged a quick look.

Hana raised an eyebrow as she looked back at the nineteen year olds. "What-?"

"HUUUUUUHHH???!" Naruto screamed as Shikamaru shook his head, unable to comprehend what they saw.

"W-What?!" Hana exclaimed as Naruto grabbed her by her shoulders, shaking the red head vigorously.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'WHAT'. WHY ARE YOU WEARING A WEDDING RING?!" Naruto yelled as Shikamaru pulled him off of his cousin.

"Wedding what? Oh, this ring?" Hana questioned as she looked at the sparkling ring.

"Y-you only went to the hidden sand for a couple days and came back married?! What's next, kids?" Shikamaru snickered as Hana tilted her head to the side.

"I'm not married."

"Wait what?" Naruto questioned.

Hana laughed as she held her hand up. "I'm not married, I'm engaged!!"

Yeah, the boys never left the poor red head alone after that.

Turns out, Hana was messing with them. The 'wedding ring' was merrily a promise ring, an early christmas present gifted to her by Gaara.

Mother really was a prankster..anyways!

"And then, I told them it was really just a promise ring! Those two will fall for anything!" Hana laughed as the girls all giggled.

Ten ten, Ino, Sakura, Hinata, and Hana all sat around a small table on the floor, snow falling outside of the large window of Hana's apartment.

"Ahh, why is it Hana gets to be in a relationship!?" Ino cried as she pouted.

"How did you two even get in a relationship? And with Gaara of all people?" Sakura questioned as Ten ten nodded in agreement.

"Yeah! I thought you would get with Shikamaru or even Kiba! I even considered Naruto before we all found out you guys were cousins..." Ten ten mumbled the last part as Hana sweat dropped.

Hana's face started heating up, as she played with her fingers in an attempt to call herself down. "W-well...mm..."

All the girls stared at Hana as she took a deep breath. "I guess, it was after Gaara and I were kidnapped by the akatsuki? And then...he um...kissed me..."

A shrill squeal of excitement erupted from the girls, even Hinata gasped in happiness. "A-And after that he asked me out on a date and it just kind of took off from there...."

The girls all awed at their blushing red head friend, as Hana smiled in remembrance.

"That is just so cute! Ah, you guys are just so perfect for each other! And you too Hinata, what with you being with Naruto and everything!" Ino giggled as Hinata blushed furiously.

"I-it- i- i-" Hinata stuttered out, as if her brain short circuited as the girls all laughed.

"It's okay Hinata! So, who's going to Kakashi sensei's Christmas party? On- well, Christmas?" Hana questioned as the girls all smiled.

"I am!"

"Me too!"

"Cha! It's gonna be great!"

"I'm going too..."

"Alright then!"

It was Christmas Day! Everyone filed into Kakashi's small house that he shared with Rose, as they all set their gifts beneath the beautiful tree.

There was lights, ornaments, and everyone was there celebrating.

Hana sighed boredly as Hinata raised an eyebrow at her best friend. "Are you okay, Hana?"

"Yeah...it's just- I wanted to see Gaara...I wanted to spend Christmas with him..." Hana trailed off as she brushed some hair behind her ear. "I think I'm gonna take a break real quick."

Hana left into a random room.

Hinata nodded as she watched her friend leave, as she sighed in relief. "Okay!"

Everyone nodded as Kakashi smirked beneath his mask.

Suddenly a door to a room opened, as a blushing Gaara was shoved out beside Temari and Kankuro. "Welcome, kazekage!"

Gaara smiled as Temari and Kankuro chuckled. "Go get her!"

Gaara walked into the room, as everyone resumed their conversations quickly.

Hana sat on a window seat, her knees curled up to her chest as she watched the snow fall from outside.

Gaara took a deep breath before walking in, not before knocking gently on the door.

Her head snapped up, as her eyes widened before her face broke out into a large smile. "Panda!!"

Hana jumped at the boy, engulfing him into a hug as he smiled happily. "Hi, Hana."

"I missed you so much! Merry Christmas!" She giggled as she gently grabbed his face with her hands, pulling him down to her height.

They shared a small kiss as Hana smiled widely.

However, before they knew it, Gaara tripped and landed above Hana.

It was certainly, and awkward position...

Gaara was above Hana, who laid underneath him with an all red face as she whimpered slightly.

And of course, with their luck, a certain someone opened the door.
