FATHER?

just another beautiful day in the Tower. Everything was normal. Kori enjoying playing with Mari, Aoscourt, Vic and Nightwing training. Terra constantly trying to flirt with Gar but Gar is always pushing her around. It was 9 in the morning. Arine was in her room, enjoying doing hairstyles. Her golden-violet locks were tied in a messy bun and two strands of her hair flowing freely in the air. Her bun was contained with a small bunny hairclip. She didn't wore her usual attire. Light pink crop top with faded pink shorts. She wore normal cotton socks and slippers underneath. 

Arine finally finished her hairstyle and decided to leave. She took her purse and grab an extra cell phone. She also wore sneakers now except of her slippers. She was on a self-mission right now. She was going to search for her dad in the city today. 

As she walk in the common room, all eyes fell on her. Mari jumped up and down seeing her most favorite person in the tower. Gar was a little shocked of her attire today. Usually she would wear her uniform. But today she just wore.....  normal clothes. 

"Aah...  Are you going somewhere?" Gar was suspicious to the girl standing in front of his eyes. 

"Umm...  Yes! I am going to the City for... ah-fo-r shopping... Yeah shopping!" Now Arine was not a good liar.

All except one were satisfied with her answer. Garfield still hold his suspicious. Subconscious, his mama bear instincts took place and he was... don't know why... but was feeling protective towards Arine. 

"Arine. Can I talk to you for a moment? " Gar said in a firm command.

"Of Course!" 

"Tell me the truth!" Gar was not letting her get away by telling a lie.

"OK I am going to the City for searching for him." Arine said defeated.

"Who?" Gar raised an eyebrow on her answer, absolutely not satisfied. 

"My Father! I am going to search for him today!" Arine said still calm but a little angered.

Gar's face softened and his eyes became regretting. He smiled warmly at the child and patted her shoulder warmly. "Sure! You should go and if you meet him. Bring him hear. I am gonna teach him how to raise a child!" Gar said punching his palm with other hand.

Arine chuckled at his humor and waved a silent goodbye. Garfield waved a goodbye and hoped that she find him today. 

Several hours for finding. But still nothing. She was tired. Every muscle of her body ached and screamed for rest. She sighed in defeat and moved towards the Titans Tower. 

Arine was possibly not in good mood. She wanted to meet her dad so badly. But her luck was not with her. She faked an excuse for being tired and was going to rest in her room. 

'Where are you dad? Plz come to me. I want to meet you... so badly!' she thought as she removed her sneakers and slipped in her Pj's. It was 8 in the nightand she was terribly tired. She decided to skip dinner and directly go to bed. She opened her messy bun and brushed her golden locks gently. 

'If only mom told me who he is!' she thought before slipping into deep deep sleep. 

Arine slowly opened her eyes and got blinded with bright light. She didn't understand where she was, but she wasn't scared of this place. She wasn't feeling insecure in this place. She was feeling safe, Love and warmth. The same feelings which she got from her mom (wow that rhymes.. Anyway back to the story). 

She moved a bit. As far as an eye can she see, she only saw white walls and bright lights. As she moved further, she saw a violet dot. Further, further and now she can see the back on that person. That mystery woman slowly faced Arine. 

Arine could not believe what she saw. The lady had beautiful violet locks resting upon her shoulders. Their color was matching the color of her eyes. She was not anyone but ARINE'S MOM!  

Arine could feel tears forming in her deep violet-blue eyes. Her mom moved towards Arine and gently placed her hand on her cheek. "Honey, look, you have grown so much. You are almost looking like a grown up woman."

Her voice was stuck in her throat. She couldn't speak. She quickly hugged her mom and cried on her shoulder. 

"Mom!! I missed you so much! Why did you left me? Plz come back. Let's find dad together!" Arine pleaded to the young woman. 

"Sorry dear, it's too late for me too come. But I can tell you about your dad! If you want me to?" 

"Of course I want Mom!" 

Woman smiled and closed her eyes. A image started to form in front of her. She slowly spoke, "Ari, your father is not a normal person. You didn't realise but, he was right in front of your eyes. Every day, you would say good morning to him. Play with him. Fight with him. Enjoy dinner with him. Talk about your powers and secrets with him... " The image started to be visible. 

"You everyday see him. You just don't know. He is desperate to meet you. Just like you are to meet him. You know him very well. He's been protecting you ever since he saw you. Ever since he mistaken you to be me. He is subconsciously loving you, just like you do to him! You just needed to know. And here he is!"

An image of Beast Boy and Raven came. Then it moved to Gar's and Arine's. Suddenly Arine felt millions of vision filling her head. All were of her mother and her father. From their first meet to her leaving. Everything was clear to Arine. 

Slowly a smile formed on her face. She softly spoke, "So, he is my lost dad. And I am his lost daughter." Her mother nodded. And then she was shown in her old uniform. Arine understand her mother was also a part of Titans. She slowly nod and waved a goodbye to her mother as she disappeared in bright light. The mystery was solved. She finally found him. And she was really glad for that! Now, she just need to tell him.
