“ Forgive me for not visiting sooner master...if only I were by your side like I had for so many years , you insisted that the times were changing and I had to settle into modern Liyue before ancient beings like us become insignificant “

“ Maybe if I refused it hard enough we wouldn’t have this conversation at all “ I laughed darkly falling on my knees gripping the sword tightly for support , while I mourned the death of my long time friend

“ Who did this to you they shall pay with their lives “ I finally mustered up the courage to look my master in his lifeless eyes

The closest thing I had to family , all slowly disappearing one by one

First Havria , then Guizhong now Morax

even my ally turned enemy Osial has now perished

I only have xiao and the adepti left to rely on to protect Liyue

“  I hope celestia has all the bamboo soup you can eat , at least you can see Havria and Guizhong again...since you liked them so much “ I said bitterly , tears threatening to drop from behind the mask . I mentally thanked myself for making the mask conceal my entire face and alter my voice , or it would be truly embarrassing to see The Red Phantom bawling its eyes out like a girl

After spending three thousand years with the archon i grew to enjoy his presence , even after fulfilling my contracts and relieved of my duties for the day i always chose to return to the adepti abode for a game of chess with morax or training with Xiao

I rarely spent time with Havria or Guizhong since no one knew my true identity thus my gender was a mystery and they assumed i was a male due to my armour and my voice

Because of this i was always excluded from their “ Goddesses night out” shenanigans , something i had done in the past with Murata and Baal when we were all merely in our hundreds .
They always said that i would find boring

Who said Mr Phantom would be bored by picking glaze lilies ? Or styling his and other’s hair ? Now that i recalled Havria and Guizhong always took a liking to how morax’s hair was always styled in different ways after we returned from our ‘ Gods night out ‘ outings

Hmph who else other than myself would put morax’s hair in double pigtails












( to clear up confusion y/n as The Red Phantom has two swords , the electro one she usually uses as Yujing is called vanquisher and the pyro sword is called hellfire. A tiny spoiler , hellfire was originally lightbringer but y/n had it modified to black and fused it with pyro energy . But if one knows how lightbringer looks like they can tell as y/n left the unique carvings on the sword :D some extra info , as the red phantom y/n only uses both swords when absolutely necessary as vanquisher is used by Yujing and using it might draw a link to Yujing and the red phantom being the same person ;)
