Minho's P.O.V ~
Y/N has helped me alot after I came back. I am really grateful to her and I think I should treat her someday for all the help, but never did I expect that I'll end up asking her to be my prom date.
Flashback ~
While I was on my way towards my class, I saw Y/N and Kyunghee walking together.
"Hello Y/N and Kyunghee!", I ran and greeted them.
"Hello", they both replied in unison .
"What happened Y/N ? You don't look well, are you okay?", I asked looking at Y/N who's face was dull.
"Am..am fine Minho", Y/N replied and walked ahead.
"Some girls again teased better said 'insulted' Y/N for not having a prom date this year as well. She's sick of theseveryone things", Kyunghee informed.
"What? Y/N is getting mean words from girls because she doesn't have a prom date!?"
I was shocked to hear that, everything is the same here even after a year girls are still picking on her. Without thinking twice, I ran towards Y/N.
"Y/N!", I shouted while running and reaching her, I pulled her arm and made her turn towards me.
"What happened Minho?", she asked out of shock.
"Y/N will you be my prom date?", I asked.
Her reaction changed.
"Minho... What are you talking about? Don't you know there are so many girls wanting to be your Prom date!", Y/N raised her voice.
"I don't care about them but you!", I replied coldly, holding her shoulder and looking at her.
She went silent.
I got hold of her hands and asked again, "Will you Park Y/N?"
After looking at me for a moment she replied, "Yes".
I was happy because I was able to help her and maybe because I was both grateful and sympathetic towards her at that moment.

Walking towards my class I spotted Mina and her side girls walking towards me. Ahh not them again!
The more Mina got closer, her walking became aggressive and soon she pushed me with one hand.
"You! How dare you ask that girl out?", Mina shouted.
I rolled my eyes at her.
"Huh? It seems that you don't care about anything I say." Mina scoffed, folding her arms.
"Yes I Don't! But Y/N is my friend, so don't you dare say anything about her or us." I replied and started walking away.
"Even if when your 'dear friend' Y/N gets bullied, called out a bi*ch and will be blamed for stealing you? I mean getting these kind of treatment just because she was your Prom date, is it okay to you?", Mina smirked.
I stopped on my way because that's when I realised 'If I go to the Prom with Y/N, I'll be making her life a living hell in school'. And I'll never do or let that happen.

Y/N's P.O.V ~
It's been a whole day already! But my mind still can't process the fact that Minho asked me out, to be his Prom date.
I started laughing and blushing all myself, thinking about the moment.
"Yah! Will you stop acting weird?", shouted Kyunghee.
"Let her be like that, she looks so happy and so am I for her!", said Tanmi.
Out of happiness both I and Tanmi joined hands and started jumping.
"Sometimes I really don't understand why am best friends with these 'kids'!", sighed Kyunghee.
We laughed at her words and I heard my phone beep.
It was a message from Minho.
Minho - Meet me at the rooftop after school.
