For Alina, the worse has already happened and no longer she closed herself in the chains of the past. She got everything a girl could ask for. A boy who loved her, parents back to normal and the new start.

For Kabir, the worse he could see had happened, the love he desired was back to him and at last, he moved on from the haunted past and failure. He got everything a boy could ask for. A girl who loved him and the new start with her.

But they forgot new starts are not easy when your past is still there, haunting and crushing you.

Maybe this new start wasn't a lovely one but the one to push them back to the start.

Maybe they would learn love is not forever.

Imaan never imagined that love could be this complicated. It wasn't supposed to be this way. Growing up, she had always been told that love would come when it was meant to, that it would be simple and pure-guided by faith, respect, and the traditions of her Pakistani roots. But now, sitting in her room late at night, watching the soft glow of her phone screen, she wondered if she was meant to just follow the path laid out for her, or if there was more to love than what she'd been taught. It had started when she met Rayan again after all those years. They had known each other since middle school, but it was only now, in high school, that something shifted. He wasn't just the guy she'd seen in passing anymore. He was someone who made her feel seen, heard, and respected in ways she hadn't even known she needed. But there was a problem. Her heart was still tied to the past-the scars of a relationship that had torn her apart. Aayan. She had loved him with all her heart, only to find out that he had been unfaithful. He had broken her trust, and with it, the possibility of ever believing in love again. Now, with Rayan, she faced a new kind of fear. Could she trust him? Could she let herself fall in love again? Or would her past repeat itself? As Imaan lay awake that night, the answer was clear. The fear of getting hurt was too great. But deep inside, something whispered: Maybe love is worth the risk. She swears she hates him. He's convinced he hates her more. But when secrets, lies, and late-night whispers begin to blur the line between enemies and something they wouldn't even consider, neither of them is ready for what's coming. *** Aliana is loud, impulsive, and dangerously unpredictable. She lies when she's scared, smiles when she's breaking, and keeps everyone away with her endless sarcasm and sharp tongue. She doesn't need anyone. Especially not him. Ali is silent storms and cold stares. The boy with the bad reputation, a past no one talks about, and a temper that makes people flinch. He wants nothing to do with drama, especially when it wears red lipstick and calls him names. They can't stand each other. So why do they keep ending up alone in the same room? Why does every fight feel like foreplay? And why does hating him hurt more than it should? ~~~~~~ He kisses me, again and again, raw and consuming, and then pulls away; I can feel his green eyes piercing my soul. "What you told me last time, say it again," he whimpers breathlessly. "What?" I manage to ask, confused, and reel him in again for another kiss. He pulls back again, his breath hot against my skin. "That you hate me, tell me that you hate me." "I hate you," I tell him almost instantly, the lie burning on my tongue. He kisses me harder and more hungrily, and the words slip out again from my tongue: "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you." His murmurs deepen into groans, and at this exact moment, I ask myself how I'm still standing, still breathing, still present. ~~~~~~ Status: Ongoing Updates: Wednesdays and Saturdays
