Ever heard the expression, "Drugs make the pain stay while you float away"? Yeah, me neither, because I just made that up. _______ In a fairly sized town called Bloomington, their lives a young troubled girl named, Juliet Branson. She's 16 years young and lives with her abusive alcoholic mother and her pervy stepdad who is old enough to be her grandfather. Juliet's father killed himself in front of her very own eyes when she was eight. Her mother blamed her ever since. Juliet has a hard life and living in a shit home on the wrong side of town doesn't exactly help. The one way she has ever known to relieve her daily struggles is through drugs and self harm. She is her own bad habit. She had never had anyone there for her and for that, Juliet was clinically depressed and isolated herself from others. Especially at school. When a new boy shows up he takes an interest in her, but Juliet doesn't know how else to cope with anything other than getting high, cutting, or popping pills into her system whenever she gets the chance. Juliet can't afford falling in love.
