The year is 1992, it's been 9 years since Carly and Nikki have gone their separate ways. Through that time, Carly and Nikki's life has drastically changed.

Nikki is married to Brandi Brandt since 1989, together they have a kid. Nikki kicked Vince out of the band and now has a new frontman, John Corabi. Nikki hasn't thought about Carly in years, he tried everything he could to block her out, drugs, alcohol, everything. But, after all the years of decadence; he's sober.

Carly has been quietly still managing Motley Crue but has basically fallen off the face of the earth. She also has a career as a model. Carly was in the same boat as Nikki with trying to block him out. drugs and alcohol, but just like Nikki; she's now clean, as well.

Both have moved on with their lives, they probably don't even really remember the other too well. Until one day, Carly gets a call from their other manager about the replacement and has to come back. She has to come face-to-face with her first love once again.

Nikki has no knowledge of this, as far as he's concerned, Carly left. Never to return. What'll happen when he sees the first girl he ever fell in love with? 

Will this be Carly and Nikki's second chance? Or is it all for a lost cause?

(DISCLAIMER: I wrote this when I had just became a fan of the Crüe and this was my first Nikki fanfic, so it is not very good. I wrote a remastered version of this book that's completely different than this version!) Nikki meets a girl who instantly catches his eye at The Whiskey. Trying to talk to her, he thinks she's playing hard to get, upon further talking, he realized she's afraid. Afraid of what? Carly meets the bassist of a band called Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx. Knowing of his bad boy rep, she tries to stray away from him. Hearing about the way he treats women makes her afraid. What's she afraid of? Everything. (I in no way mean any disrespect to Mötley Crüe/Nikki Sixx at all. Some events that take place in this story are from "The Dirt" and "The Heroin Diaries", I take no credit for what I put in this story that relates to those books. This story is purely for fun, I admire Mötley Crüe very much.)

This short story, to me, is a bit different from other Lexx stories that I've seen here, or even other Motley fan fiction stories that I've read here. It's a lot of self reflections of the characters, more so than a story line, although it does have one. But, Crue fan fiction writers here on Wattpad have been my inspiration because you get my mind cranking with ideas. So thank you. This is my first attempt at writing. Surprisingly, I'm a regular gal who just loves Motley Crue and other music from the era. I pretty much have a band crush, with particular affection for Nikki.
