Years ago, the gods watched from above, as we played out our lives, locked in and a neverending battle between Life and Death. We lived our lives, unknowing, and unimportant. Then came the Awakening. As fierce daemons rose and ravaged the Earth, the Dionarae descended to the mortal plane and rebound the Earth, thereby founding New Pangaea and paving the way for the new world. Now, the Dionarae live among us, they live and die, over and over, they protect us and guide us. And thus, the battle between Life and Death continues. Or so it did. But the trouble with mortality is that, over the years, the gods have gone native. They learned to Love. And Love is more dangerous than Life and Death combined. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shivani Vishwanathan is human.
