Sixteen-year-old Luna Gilmore's father goes missing one day in October. And it takes her on a challenging adventure of self-discovery, the importance of family relationships, sacrifice, and even unconditional and irrevocable love. The ocean is calling to her in waves of courage, compassion, strength, honor, magic spells, and bravery. This is my original story I created on my own. Same rules apply. Thank you. Ratings: Number 44 in Oceans and number thirteen in lipgloss. Luna Gilmore is probably one of my favorite characters I've written so far. I really really like her as a person and friend. I hope you like her too friends. She's a special character development for this. This is a novel about mythical creatures such as "sirens." Sirens are mermaids basically but they are evil mermaids. They have been portrayed in Pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny Depp. I have been wanting to post this for a while now. I have been working on this book since tenth grade English class and writing literature classes in high school for a long time. I have been studying English classes and want to take a creative writing course someday. I have been looking into it on the Internet. I've been wanting to study it on my own time. I hope you like this story about Luna Gilmore I created in my head one day in English class when I was bored and listening to lectures from my different teachers in high school English. Almost was in advanced English in college until I dropped out. But that's another story of mine that I don't like to talk about necessarily. I have a very fast mind. I think about speed often. Some people even called me intelligent sometimes. Despite the obvious struggles. I have made character charts for my characters at the library before with my friends who had talked me through it and helped me create the character charts out of kindness. I had no previous knowledge of how to do that. But it was easy once I figured it out as well. I spend a lot of time at the library reading.
